For very little money, we had a delicious lunch that came in a large portion. The hummus was creamy and nutty. The stuffed grape leaves were tangy without tasting too sharp. Grilled meat was not served at lunch, so we had a chicken stew for our protein. The tomato sauce was bright, and the chicken was tender and moist. The meal came with a large pack of bread and a large plate of salad, with fresh arugula, carrot, cucumber, tomatoes and other kinds of fresh and pickled vegetables. The freshly-squeezed juice was delicious, with no sugar added. I enjoyed my mango juice. The place was clean, and our sever was polite. English menus were available. Plan to nap afterwards.
It was not easy to locate this restaurant because of the lack of street numbers. It is on Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Street near Salahuddeen Al Ayyubi (116th) Street.
