I visited Dubai for a weekend and one evening I took a trip with my friend (from Girls Go Surfing at Surf Dubai) to have a lesson in the wave pool. WOW! It was so cool, being right in the desert having a surf lesson next to a 'mountain'.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The facilities are fantastic; clean and well maintained (as you'd expect for the price).

Highly recommended!!

Still developing, but already great fun for a day out. Make sure you know where it is on the map - there's very few signposts yet. The Sky Park that leads to the zip line makes you feel a little like Indiana Jones for a while - just make sure you wear good footwear or you'll have to use the oversized old crocs, and be sure to use the gloves provided to prevent rope burns. The rapids in a dingy are great, ideal with a group of 4 - 6. I didn't try in the kayak, but I'm sure would be equally fun. The waves for surfing are very novel and worth a go - tutors are on hand to help. You can just chill by the pool if you get a little tired. The food is also surpisingly good quality for an open fast-food type - good portions, and well worth the cost. Overall a great day for the whole family.

Not much options to choose from, The place is a bit expensive and the rides are not worth the money spent. The pool is small but nice though. Safety aspect needs to be looked a bit more. Staff except the local ones are nice and friendly. The welcome at the entrance was not very warm when someone asks you to fill a form without telling you what is in there and why should you fill that.

Hi,

Thanks for the review. I'm not sure what your expectations were but our activities are not designed as 'rides' like a regular water park. Wadi Adventure is a adventure park designed for active participation, learning, fitness and fun. Next time, go rafting or try taking a lesson in surfing or kayaking to learn some new skills and really experience what we have to offer.

In all our activities, we operate to the highest international standards of safety with extensive training for all our staff. For details, please feel free to drop us an email at: press@wadiadventure.ae

Kind Regards,

Wadi Adventure

Went there yesterday and for 4 adults plus one child with rafting and kayak was £250. That is with a 50% discount. Then (and this is no joke) myself and one of our party spotted a local boy upside down in his canoe drowning. We just managed to get him in time after he had been submerged for over half a minute. Fortunately he was okay but just beware as the instructor had missed this because there were not enough to run a novice kids group. This is not an exaggeration. We are British Police officers on leave...

Hi,

Thanks for your review, we're glad you had a good time. The nature of our activities means that it is not always cheap but we do ensure consistently high levels of service. This is not a traditional water park and our staff are trained to the highest international standards. Nevertheless, we do offer occasional specials you can check for on our Facebook page.

If there are incidents, it's best if you raise any concerns on the day. There has never been a serious injury at Wadi Adventure and our staff are trained to deal with a range of situations. We regularly host large groups of school children from centres all over the Middle East and are consistently praised for our services and professionalism. We recognise that adventure sports are inherently risky and that is made clear from the outset. Our job is to help people learn the skills needed to deal with that risk themselves.

We hope to welcome you back again in the future, maybe next time to give the surf pool a try with one of our instructors?

Kind Regards,

Wadi Adventure
