Interesting museum to while away a couple of hours out of the sun. A little dated but with some interesting artefacts.

“History of Al Ain and Abu Dhabi”
Reviewed September 27, 2012

This museum will show you a glance of the history of both cities. Many of the displayed items are related to the old history of Al Ain and it reaches recent history.

This is a very nice place if you are interested to know about the history of the region. It shows some great art effects to go along with the details of the past.

“Al Ain Museum”
Reviewed August 23, 2012

A fun and healthy way to tour the Corniche is to hire a bicycle. FunRideSports hires out a selection of cycles - from mountain bikes, to city bikes which can fit two or three passengers on the back, and even specially designed bikes for ladies wearing abayas. FunRideSports has four rental stations along the Corniche boardwalk with its main station outside The Hiltonia Beach Club. Hire starts at AED 20 (US$ 5) per hour for adults and AED 15 (US$ 4) for children. Voucher booklets for 15 hours of cycling are also available for AED 200 (US$ 54).

“Every Resident should be required to visit!”
Reviewed August 1, 2012

Our 2nd visit here...this tine even better with our kids...a great lesson in UAE history that adds an element of respect to the region...something ALL residents need, especially! cheap too...& a 2-spot stop with the Oasis right next to it...very historical so read about it 1st & grab the brochures from the museum for some reads-on-the-road.
