Booked as part of tour, so didn't know cost, but it was a wonderful place to stay. Four poster bed, very clean and comfortable room and the restaurant food was excellent. Friendly hotel dog, Fupi, as well!

Room Tip: Highly recommend the Chili beef strips salad. And the chocolate cake.

Off a very late flight we were greeted and made welcome at this beautiful small hotel. Eat out on the porch lit by oil lamps. The food is a delight. The room was well set out and had the most wonderful dawn chorus every morning. The swimming pool was well cared for. Do remember to take lots of cash. No credit cards in Uganda.

Room Tip: Ask for room in main house if possible just to enjoy the building Breakfast is slow but this is Uga...

I was only here for the day. The staff was friendly, the rooms big and comfortable, and the food was really good. I really enjoyed my stay, but not having cash and them not accepting credit cards upon departure made things a little quirky (But that seemed to be the trend throughout Uganda). But it was a great last drop of Uganda before I headed home.

The Boma is only a few kilometers from the Entebbe airport and walking distance from an amazing park, the Entebbe Botanical Gardens. The Boma is a well run garden paradise with tons of charm and excellent food. You really couldn't do any better than this place. If this hotel was located in the US, we'd call it a "boutique" hotel and the cost to stay would be upwords of $300/night. This place will cost you $105 US dollars. -Well worth the price for what you are getting! They are also enviormentally conscious by using filtered (safe for drinking) water from large reusable jugs instead of one-time use water bottles.

Another important factor is the lack of noise. This can be difficult to avoid when visiting the larger cities without being off the beaten track, but The Boma is easily accessible yet quiet! This allows you to better enjoy the bird watching from the deck! And if you are lucky, you will see the Vervet monkeys running around on the rooftops!

You will not regret staying here, but make sure to book ahead as it fills up! Patrick, the booking manager, is very professional and quick to respond to your emails.

Enjoy!

Room Tip: Rooms 14 and 15 are double rooms, which they will upgrade automatically if available. No matter wha...

The Boma is an oasis close to the airport. We stayed there for a week and enjoyed both the clean and spacious room, our own balcony as well as the other facilities. A beautiful garden with lovely flowers and lots of birds made an exotic place to stay, while we were working. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and we really felt welcome. No doubt: we will be back!

Room Tip: Room 1 and 2 are very spacious and have their own balcony/terrace, which is lovely during the evenin...

Boma Guest House is a great find and well managed. It is great value, relaxing, very convenient to the airport in Entebbe and the staff excellent especially "Patrick" at Reception who whilst my booking reservations were miscommunicated to BGH and to me by Tour Operator..... took care of all, thought ahead and was wonderfully patient! (The pool is very nice, and there are lots of interesting books around throughout the Guest House, they allowed me to store my other luggage for several days at no charge, and one of the best things was their complimentary airport transfers - not a shuttle but tailored to your flight)

Room Tip: My room interior was pleasant - good water pressure although need to run hot water for awhile. Room...

I have now stayed at the Boma on 4 separate occasions (one of those for 4 days) and the welcome, hospitality, friendliness and service of all the staff is wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is fantastic, and the breakfast (included in the price) is a breakfast fit for a king and to suit all palates! Other Ugandan B&B's and Hotels, could take lessons from the Boma especially their breakfast spread! May be a bit on the expensive side, but worth every shilling and more. Thank you The Boma staff. I WILL see you again!

Room Tip: I cannot find a single complaint of any of the three different rooms I slept in.
