“Loved it!”

We stayed at Carpe Diem at the beginning and end of our trip. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.....Not that you will spend any time there, as the outdoor lawn/terrace area has probably the best view in town. Service is friendly and food is great!
Our host, Rachel was very helpful with any tips and infomation regarding our Self-Drive holiday. I'm sure we wouldn't have made it to the main road via the short cut without her directions.
Don't look any further... This place is great value for money and the perfect way to start and end your trip through Uganda

Room Tip: We stayed in 2 different rooms. Both were nice. I prefered the one just off reception.

After a number of disappointing "upgrades" in our three week trip, we landed at Carpe Diem. What a blessing. Beautiful view, calm, peaceful perfection in the rooms, great service, fabulous food, spectacular French press coffee and breakfasts, lovely staff and an owner (Rachael) with an eye for perfected service and what guests really want. It was a rare combination of local grace combined with five-star service. Elegant but not pretentious.

This was our third visit to Uganda. Thanks to our Eco Expeditions tour guide, we found Carpe Diem. We only stayed a short time, but it was so pleasant and comfortable. Nice rooms and showers, wi-fi and television (to catch up on the news). The view is breathtaking out over Lake Victoria and the Entebbe Airport, especially at sunset! Director Rachel was fun, and such a great resource for an unexpected early medical departure. She and the staff accommodated our late arrival and airline purchases. Meals were delicious and very enjoyable on the patio. This is definitely our new favorite lodging in Entebbe

This is a gem in Entebbe. I wound up here quite by accident and I'm so glad I did. This is a beautiful facility with stunning views of the lake and spacious rooms. The restaurant is excellent with candle lit tables overlooking the lake and town; fresh juices, homemade food, and a real espresso machine top it off. Rachel, the owner, and Diana and the other staff are warm and went helpful. This will definitely be my go-to place in Entebbe.

We stayed here on our last night in Uganda, after travelling around the country for 2 weeks. The property was lovely, the rooms (and bathrooms)clean, modern, comfortable and spacious, and the food was wonderful. My teenagers were thrilled to have WiFi, and we enjoyed an excellent dinner out on the patio. Rachel, the owner, was up very early in the morning preparing our breakfast, to accomodate our early flight. We had complimentary transportation to the airport, which was conveniently close. The rates are a bargain compared to the hotels in Kampala, and Carpe Diem is such better quality! I highly recommend a stay here if visiting Uganda!

A wonderful place to stay while exploring Entebbe. Rachel and her staff went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The staff are very friendly and efficient and the chef is a gem producing great food. The view and the peaceful atmosphere all adds to a stunning time and we were at times reluctant to even leave the guest house to explore other areas of Entebbe. Rachel is a mine of information and can arrange anything that might be required from safari's to vehicle hire. Highly recommended and we will be back. The breakfast pancakes are awesome!!

Room Tip: All rooms are great.

I didn't stay here, but had a late lunch outside on the lawn. The service was good. I had one of the specials, a penne pasta dish that I actually enjoyed. The view was excellent. You can see the airport and the lake from your table. It was fun picking out landmarks. It might be a bit chilly if you're out there at night, with the breeze. But, nice and toasty during the day. I can recommend this place.
