We stayed at this hotel, on the black sea coast for 3 days, and found it quite enjoyable!! The staff were very helpful, even though thier english skills were not that good, we managed to communicate well!!My turkish skills were not any better!! Our room was great, very spacious and with plenty of places to put our luggage on. Not at all squeezy. We made our way into town by mini bus which runs along the coast every couple of minutes. Just hail them down and they will stop for you. It only costs around 1 turkish lira to get into town. Plenty of shopping to do, and no one hassles you, just shop at your liesure and look around the city. Trabzon is quite a nice place, with plenty of hills and very green. Water was the nicest we had tasted as it came from springs, and was cold and refreshing..After spending around 5 hours in town, we made our way back to the hotel, just told the driver where we were staying, and he stopped there for us. Freshened up in our room, went for a swim in the pool at the hotel, then back to town for a lovely meal on a terrace overlooking the city square. The following day, we had breakfast at the hotel, and they had a great variety of food, from eggs, youghurts, juices, tea, coffee fruits and sweets. All bases were covered. We organized a couple of tours to keep ourselves occupied, one tour was to sumela monastery, which was great, and the next day to a lake district, which reminded us of switzerland, with rolling hills and plenty of hotels. We really enjoyed our time here in Trabzon and especially at the Saylamlar hotel, and we have no hesitation in recomending this hotel, as it was great, along with it's staff..Thanks for a wonderful stay!!!!

We stayed for 3 days from 19th to 22th May 2011. Checking-in to the hotel was very nice and friendly staff. It is in a convenient location only 8 minutes’ drive from Trabzon's city center. You can go to saylamlar from meydan(city center) by dolmuş.The rooms are some small. There is no indoor pool at the hotel, but sauna and massage Are good. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of food. Always there is Fresh and delicious milk.Everywhere in the hotel were so clean. The ocean view of restaurant is good. There is a shopping mall near saylamlar called Cevahir Outlet, in Yomra town which lies 5 minutes away from Trabzon. Don’t forget to go baying at cevahir outlet.Saylamlar is near to the World Trade Center and Novotel hotel too.
