brill entertainment team and staff very friendly and great at there job.. spotless and modern appartments. our room was on the ground floor which i did request..but it was next to the toilets so the hand dryers where quite noisy. also out view from balcony was a brick wall. the room also needed air con in living area as we were sleeping there, and the chair and sofa bed were rock hard and did not get much sleep!

i cannot fault this hotel at all.....2 weeks spent here in august...rooms kept immaculately clean, maids are wonderful, all bar staff and table staff are friendly and cannot do enough for you. The entertainment team are funny but not at all pushy so they don't annoy you when you don't want to join in with them. i actually saw some staff removing towels from the sunbeds when they had been left for too long..so by about 3 o'clock you can easily get a sunbed and to be honest its far too hot to be on a sunbed before then anyway. The entertainment at night is same old same old but i think all hotels across Europe have the same sort of entertainment....at least here they look like they want you to have fun. i would certainly stay here again. also they wont have any messing around on the water slides.its clean..its fun..and its safe...well done Aida...we loved our hols..and 10 mins slow walk to the beach.

Room Tip: pool view if you want a bit of noise but if you want peace go for a street view..our apartment was very quiet.

We have just returned from 11 nights at Club Aida. Four of us travelled, myself, my husband and our two teenage daughters. Our stay was fantastic. We arrived very late at night and were immediately greeted by staff to take our bags and check us in. The rooms were exactly like they are in the pictures and spotlessly clean. We did pay for the air conditioning the next morning as it was very warm in the room. The air con unit is in the bedroom but if you left the door ajar it soon cooled the whole apartment. The rooms are cleaned daily with towels changed every day if you wished. Our maid Latife was lovely and always chatty and cheerful, she often left flowers too.

The hotel facilities were great and again exactly as described. Staff from the spa and hairdressers would visit you around the pool to let you know about their products but were never pushy. Reggie and his team also came round offering free conditioning treatments, my daughter and I would certainly advise you accept one of these. The shop was handy but watch the price labels, things aren't always in the right places. It is a cashless hotel which works well. You are given are card when you check in and you can top this up at reception at anytime. The card must be used in the bar, restaurant and for icecreams etc. You can use cash in the hairdressers, the girft shop, the supermarket and I would assume the Tattoo shop and jewellers.

The pools were great and again the pool area was spotless. Each teatime the caretaker guys moved all of the sunbeds and cleaned the tiles with a wet/dry machine. The water slides were a big hit with children and adults alike and were monitored by Ginger when open. Our one and only complaint would be that guests were allowed to put towels on sunbeds at 7:30am and then go back to bed until midday! We took it in turns to get up at 8am and often still struggled to get sunbeds! Who wants to get up before 8am on their holiday?!!! They do need to sort this issue.

The entertainment team were fantastic. They were friendly and really tried to get people to join in with cocktail and pool games. They worked tirelessly all day with activities beginning in the morning with killer darts, cocktail games, music, pool games, bingo and much much more. We would often eat out in the evening but ensure we were back for the evening entertainment. We could always get a table for this. The entertainment was a mixture of outside acts and the entertainment team all good fun and enjoyable. Chucky, Rocket, Jimmy, Ginger and Justin were all brilliant and friendly with everyone, we don't know how they do it from 10am-midnight every day. They really made our holiday.

To be honest we found all of the staff to be friendly, polite and helpful, from the maintenance guy to the waiters, to restaurant manager. Club Aida has a fantastic team, everyone works very hard.

The restaurant was great and very competitive, it was nice to walk down to the beach some nights. The drinks were reasonably priced too (6.49 lira for a large beer, roughly 50p more than bars outside the hotel), do take advantage of happy hour from 10-midnight every night for cocktails. The barman Ali was always friendly and was always genuinely pleased to see us. We ate out several nights and honestly didn't have a bad meal anywhere. Dede's at Marmaris harbour was finer dining but still very reasonable, Stella's on the beach was also very good as was Tiffany's. Many others offer 5 couses for very reasonable prices, Jimmy's Martini's was good as was London Blue just down the road. Food prices in the hotel slightly more expensive but not by much (T-bone steak was 29.99 lira, so about £12)

All in all we had a fantastic holiday and we are already planning to go back to Club Aida, we're sure nowhere else will live up to it now.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the pool would be quite noisy as that is where the entertainment takes place. Entertainment finishes at midnight, the bar remains open until 2am but there is then no music after midnight.

Having been travelling to Marmaris for almost 20 years now and having stayed in many different hotels we had VERY high hopes for Club Aida as it was at the time rated number one in Marmaris on Trip Advisor. The hotel itself is fantastic, very modern and clean and most of the staff were very helpful and polite. The rooms are fantastic but a small gripe regards the lack of aircon in the second room and the non availability of any fans to rent (we bought one in the supermarket for less than half the rental charge!). Most hotels I have been in in Marmaris are similar in this respect but normally the aircon is positioned so that if you leave the door open it cools the other room too - not the case in our room. Not great when it is 39 degrees at midnight!
Entertainment was ok - pretty standard for 'Club' hotels in Turkey I would say and most of the entertainers (Chucky, Rocket etc) worked tirelessly and long hours. The DJ guy, who I understand is the entertainment manager is awful and I fail to understand why anyone would pay him to entertain people. His idea of banter is to tell you 3 times a day, every single day, that rain is forecast for later (???!!!).
Facilities at the hotel are fantastic with a large pool area with plenty of sunbeds and 2 slides. There is a games room and hairdressers and tattoo etc. We used the Turkish Bath/Spa and found this to be good value (you get what you pay for - you CAN get it cheaper outside but not as nice service.
Food in the hotel was reasonable (again you can get cheaper - and we never had a bad meal regardless of price) but the service in the restaurant was very, very erratic. Very slow mostly and as has been said in other reviews they seem to favour certain customers. I wasnt sure if it was repeat customers they favoured or was it those with young girls in the party!!
To sum it up it IS a fab hotel with great facilities in a pretty good location but there are a few niggles - especially the service in the restaurant. The friendly and rapid service is what Turkey is famous for and my top tip for Club Aida would be to sort this out then they would get 5 stars instead of 4 from us :-)

Room Tip: we had room 3202 which overlooked the main pool - a good choice I would say :-)
