Hotel itself was really nice, but it was the reps and the people we met that made it so good!! Barney was fantastic very very nice guy, so full of energy & was just always willing to help! Gogo was awesome too, nice guy! Coco & Eddie were fab. Not too much to do around the hotel area but it's easy enough to get to the town & book trips out, the entertainment was good but seems to repeat every week so a bit boring if you are there for 2 weeks. Only bad thing is the fact the maid never have us any towels for 3 days, in fact never even came In our room a couple times (she came in when we were asleep, asked her to come back, she would be in the room next to us but not come into ours). But yeh, the reps definitely made the holiday amazing, especially Barney & gogo:)

Well where do we start.Marta love the idea of moving towels after an hour or so we left ours and they were moved, but afterwards I thought what a brilliant idea stops people hogging them all day. Entertainment Eddie, coco, Gogo and last of all Barney. Barney is an absolute legend the most child friendly person we have ever met kids and adults are mesmerised by his personality and his comedy antics. Food what can we say absolutely lovely and always something for everyone and very fresh. Thomas Cook kids club every one works there socks off our daughter went to 3 party's and lots of sessions they even came and said bye to Gracie when we were going home. Last of all this is a definite hotel that deserves 5 stars it is so clean and spotless the cleaning and maintinence staff do an amazing job, we will be back without a doubt Lee Gemma Connor Ellie Georgie Gracie from Blackpool. See you soon xxxxx

I stayed at the Grand Cettia hotel for 1 week with my friend. I enjoyed it that much, I have booked to go again this summer!
The food is great, a wide variety to choose from everyday. Snacks are also very nice.
I found the hotel very clean indeed and our room was spacious.
Great pool side area.
Management staff were very friendly and often came out to greet guests. Martha was very welcoming!
But what really made the hotel amazing was the entertainment staff. They went out there way to please everyone everyday and make everyone's day fun. Barney is the best :) He is fantastic with children and also is a great adult entertainer! I would go back to the hotel just to be entertained by him.
Enjoying my next trip!
Would recommend this hotel to ANYBODY

We visited first two weeks of June, 2 adults, 3 year old and 10 month old. We were very skeptical about visiting marmaris; heard all the horror stories but went with an open mind as we got a good deal.
We arrived very excited to be having a break, airport very efficient, late night transfer wasn't too bad and then we arrived. We were very pleased, nice clean hotel, double bed, single bed and a cot. The first day we got to know all the staff. They were very and friendly. Jesus at the spa was one of the nicest people we have ever met. Gave us a free face mask and fish pedicure when we booked the last day package. Definitely recommend the Turkish bath. We did this as a family and my 3 year old loved it. Sat by the kids pool a lot, can always get a good sunbed. Marta comes round to remove towels if they haven't been used. She is a credit to the hotel and will do anything to help as will most the staff.
Thomas cook kids club are great. All the staff are really friendly and get to know you. They even helped and waited for us when we left. We went on the Jolly Roger trip, very good price and a great day out. Entertainment team are great guys especially barney. Always making sure you are having a good time.
Only downside I found was the photographer, got the images on our disc wrong and our order wrong. Also evening entertainment isn't great, they have no interest in the mini disco and play the same six songs in a row every night. But that doesn't matter we had a great time and will probably return next year.

This was among some of the best hotels we have stayed at in our many holidays in turkey, we have never been to Marmaris, but it was a very typical English tourist area, and probably we would visit Marmaris again but not this hotel if it was just the 2 of us, as it was more for families with children. The hotel is set away from the hustle and bustle of the centre and again ideal for families in that respect. You can still walk down to the beachfront and there are many shops, bars, restaurants etc along the way. Makes a nice evening walk, which we did most nights.

The Cettia hotel has a very good selection of food for all meals to suit everyone and we especially enjoyed the Turkish night with traditional foods like manti and gozleme! Excellent!!! We were thrilled to find it came around again on the second Monday we were there! Also the entertainment on that same night with traditional dancing and belly dancers was extremely good and very entertaining. The saxophone player on wine and cheese night also very talented and very enjoyable.
The omelette station in the mornings was delicious, they had a very nice roast beef on the cooking station on Sundays. The Turkish cold cuts and salads and hot soups were amazing.....really liked those and always could find fresh fruits too! All inc. drinks like Efes and wines in big glasses were good, coffee was drinkable. No bottled water though, that's the first all inc we had to buy our own.

The free shuttle to Icmeler beach was handy and we much preferred it there to Marmaris, even had a walk around the whole area and the looks of the hotels there were charming! .....it's a shame Cettia doesn't have the on site beach aspect to make it the perfect hotel. Although if you don't have kids Cettia beach resort is apparently very good and basically the same hotel but on the beachfront. We would consider going there next time.
The spa had everything you expect of a hotel. I got my hair done on the last day, very happy with that and the price! We spent several days sitting around the pool, as it was convenient, but it was a nightmare for us to find decent places to sunbathe by the pool as everyone reserved beds VERY early in the morning. The one time we got 2 beds next to the pool, we came back to find another family sitting there and our towels were gone! This annoyed us as we were using them we simply went for breakfast and coffee and to read a newspaper, like we had done every morning .... Other people actually reserved beds for hours and they did not get their towels removed! Large families had the advantage of taking up the whole area and reserving masses of beds.

It felt like the families ruled the roost here and this is a family orientated hotel so they should only take families really, we did enjoy our holiday,we did like it, and we love kids, but the entertainment team and the general hotel staff didn't really care to chat to us or have time for us since we did not have kids, we saw them chatting with everyone else and we felt a bit unwelcome and uncomfortable to be left out. It's a shame as they did do a good job from what we could see and everyone seemed to love them. We cannot comment on it highly as we did not experience interaction with anyone to even know a name or them to know ours.

The boat trip we did was for us the best part of our holiday, really enjoyed that and we always do one when we come to turkey. We got a good price from Terry's at the bottom of the hill, would recommend that day out to young people. Good fun.

Where do I Start, This hotel has everything you need to have an excellent holiday.
I went with my wife, son, his partner and 5 year old grandson.
There was something for everyone the daily and nightly entertainment was the best I have come across and the entertainment team were absolutely amazing, Barney and Coco had everyone in stitches from morning to night.
The on site Spa is a must, Sunny who handles the bookings is an absolute gentleman and one of the nicest people you will ever meet.
Black Jack the jeweler is crazy, however his prices are probably about half the cost of the UK,
I purchased a tag watch and diamond ring for my wife as it is our 30th wedding anniversary this year.
The food was excellent compared to other all inclusives which I have been to, however after a few days you still need to go outside the complex if you want high quality food.
Stella on the beach was excellent, you get a top quality T Bone steak for about 15 pounds.
The Taj Mahal was also excellent almost as good as home.
Tiffanys on the beach was almost as good, however if you are on a budget Cousins restaurant is about 100 yards from the hotel and their prices are half of those on the beach.
We went there every day on the last week for the Scotish breakfast which was less than 2 pounds, the English version was even cheaper and both were as good as you would get back home.
We only had one bad experience during our stay when the guy next door decided to beat up his wife (Billy from Scotland in room 310) hope your missus black eye clears before you get back home.
All in all I would advise anyone to go to this hotel me and my family will definitely be back soon
