The hotel isn't bad and is actually in a great location right on the beach. The drinks are not amazing and the lager does taste watered down. The food is ok you wouldn't starve there is a big selection of things. We chose to eat out a few times its cheap enough and there are some really good places to eat along the front. We had good food at the Blackpool bar which is good. We met a great crowd of people at the kaymaris and would recommend it for younger people.

When you book all inclusive you don't expect to eat out at every meal. Unfortunately the standard of food and drink selection is a huge let down for this decent Hotel. Plus points first for the people who have already booked.
The Hotel staff work really hard to keep the place clean and are always pleasant and helpful.
Rooms are cleaned daily, bit they seem to hold on to the toilet roll and don't like giving it out. If that happens just nip downstairs and grab a couple from reception. All the rooms are quite nice and in a pretty good state and quite modern. The air con is fab and runs with the patio door open which is a plus point. The pool is pretty good and you shouldn't need to fight for a sunbed if you get up at a reasonable time i.e before 9.00am.
There is free wi-fi near the reception area, it is slow but usable. The Hotel itself is quite nice in general (30 seconds from the beach) with a 24 hour shop downstairs near reception, prices are reasonable too.
Here is the nitty gritty why i've only gave it two out of five. Really it should have 2.5 stars but you can't give out halfs.
The food and drink is absolutely awful. Our whole party ate out most of the time at 'Sister's Stakehouse just around the corner on the sea front, the food there is fab and highly recommended if you need to eat out. You get 3 choices in the Hotel, chicken, chicken or pasta, with salad set out in 30 different ways. The meat is chatty and rehashed with whatever sauce takes their fancy. If you are not parky you 'may' find something to eat. But you mainly see people picking about with the rice and chips when chips are on. The cakes are quite nice.
I don't tend to drink much but i heard the alcohol was watered down bilge with tiny measures. Tried the 'Tuborg" lager....hahahaha! nearly made me sick whatever it was. Vodka and a couple of other spirits are all inclusive.
As a self catering Hotel with self catering prices, this Hotel would be fine. However, we spent far more money than we should have needed to on food and drink outside.
There is absolutely no entertainment provided by the Hotel whatsoever, no animation team, no games, no mini disco, no acts provided at evening times. So families with small children may like to book elsewhere. Break dancers turn up in the bar area once in a while but you are expected to put money in a hat when they are finished. Like everything in Turkey, nothing is free.
There is much better value for your money out there.

Alan

Room Tip: Pool view is nice.

Stayed here for 8 nights, was a bit worried about the food, but not a problem only 2 nights was I disappointed. There was always something, and I do consider myself to be quite a fussy eater! Could do with more entertainment, as it is a bit out of the way from the centre. Sister's round the corner is ok for a few drinks. Staff were very lovely and freindly, nothing too much trouble. Had a couple of massages, which were very nice. Great coffee in the machine served all day long. Lager was ok and not a problem getting as many as you want, rooms small but again kept very clean and they have very good showers in all rooms. Overall would stay again

A group of six of us stayed at the KayaMaris and we had a brilliant holiday. We had the best ever hotel view on the top floor overlooking the pool and bay. Fantastic! The rooms were small but clean and practical. The food was okay, a bit repetitive and lots of chicken dishes but we all managed to find something to eat and it the meze was fab. Local drinks included beer, juices, vodka, gin and brandy with the occasional punch or liquor, Turkish tea and coffee from breakfast till 11pm. There was occasional entertainment but they are street entertainers who pass a cap around for a tip after! The beach is literally around the corner so was easy to access hotel bar throughout the day. Sun beds around the pool are free but on the beach it will cost around 15 lira for 2 daily. If you’re fed up of the hotel food the Sisters’ bar is first-rate to eat out. We had a lovely steak meal and a breakfast with free sunbeds the next day. However we did get ripped off at the Blackpool bar that offered buy one get one free cocktails so we thought we had ordered six for the price of 3 but got 12 instead! And the drag act was awful so don’t bother!! However the band just outside the hotel in the bar on the beach at night was excellent . For the price of a few dinks its was well worth a visit. !! A Brilliant holiday. Defiantly would go back x

Room Tip: Choose from 3rd floor up for spectacular room with a view!

Definitely not a 4 star hotel, 3 star at best. The staff were good, everything was clean the room was fine and we even had a view of the sea, appropriate as we are from Torquay. Our main gripe was that the food was very poor. 2/3s of the menu was salad The meats, either lamb/chicken or beef were never served dry as if they needed their flavour or texture masked by gravy/sauce. We ate out 3 evenings out of a possible 6 and only had a light lunch given the little choice there was. Some fellow travellers had said their brochure stated ice cream was available all day, the brochure did not state these had to be purchased from the hotel shop! Our other gripe was that the drink was so weak by the 3rd day we thought we were in the middle of the Prohibition. Beer was served in glasses so small we thought we were being given samples ....actually that might have been the case because there it seemed as though an army of gnats might have been hooked up to the barrels. The wine was definitely bottled by Sarson's. On a positive note we met some lovely people but wont be going back to this hotel...or the Turtle Bar but that's another story

thanks to all the staff Hikmet and all the boys not forgetting sister too :):) dont forget when going to foreign destinations go with an open mind regarding food we brits are to cynical about food expecting the same at all inclusive as at home,a little research would be a good idea as to what people eat and dont eat in foreign clims,if you want full English its available at a reasonable price and not far away but please dont forget to experiment and enjoy the local food, yes drinks are served in plastic beakers around the pool this is for safety, would you like your holiday ruined if your little one cut themselves?also hotel ratings i.e 4 star are not British ratings, again research being the key word,As a family we have stated at Kayamaris for 6 years and would never change its has a great atmosphere and is more than relaxing in every way possible,a little smile and a good morning to others breaks the ice and leads to an unforgettable experience

Room Tip: all rooms are good all have independent air con
