Me and my friend booked this hotel as a cheap get away we Wernt expecting much as it was only a cheap holiday but didn't really mind as long as it was clean and the food was edible. When we arrived at the hotel after a very long transfer we were greeted by a scary looking man with long greasy hair a dickie bow and a dirty blue coat that had never seen a washing machine..he asked for our passports then told us the hotel was fully booked and that we would be taken to their sister hotel two minutes up the road, we were then put in a van with another couple and driven 15 minutes in to the mountains at 2am! We were scared as we didn't know where we were going. We got to the other hotel and they told us it would only be for one night. The hotel seemed nice but we got put at the back of the hotel and our balcony was overlooking a metal air con machine. We were told we would be taken down to the Seray hotel at 10am so we went down with our suitcases and waited, no one came. There was a young lad on reception who kept saying the rep would be here in 10 minutes. The rep eventually came at 12pm and explained we would have to stay at this hotel for another night, however he offered us a free turkish bath and a free safe key and late checkout when we leave. This hotel was fine there wasn't much to chose from food wise but the only problem was it was so far away from the town you had to get a bus or taxi which we did not have money for and the main reason we booked the seray centre. We eventually got to the seray after two nights at the other hotel. There were lots of other people in the same situation as us all who booked with different travel companies. The seray was not a bad hotel all in all you get what you pay for would just have been nice to have been there from the start! It was clean the food wasn't great and not much choice. Wouldn't stay here again though

You get what you pay for... but all the bad reviews are True
After this hotel was booked through friends at a last minute booking, (and not reading the reviews first) me and my partner looked at the reveiws and after reading all the eatenive reviews we were a little worried but were put at ease by friends & family saying not to read the bad ones, and make our own minds up when we got there and enjoy our holiday.
We arrived Monday 30th September 2013, to a receptionist who could barely speak english, the manager(Hussain) who was also at the desk had to step in, he quickly explain all the the hotel rules ie Meal times, all inclusive drinks served from 10-00 to 22-00 etc etc,
As we made our way to our rooms we met 3 other guest who, I qoute "dont expect much"
We had paid for a double room and pool view, we had to single beds and the back of a market and all there bins and rubbish to looked, (THERE IS NO POOL VIEW)
Back down to see Hussain, who explained we could move the next day as it was late evening, soughted.
Cases in our room did not unpack as we were moving the next day, we went down stairs to have something to eat and to have a drink, first impressions of the foods was/looked ok, good varity, pasta salad, chips, chicken, after we had eaten we moved to the pool area, there was little light as it was dusk, we were met then by and I can only say a horrible rude miserable man, who claimed he could not understand english as he was turkish, so there was a lot of pointing at what we wanted to drink, the beer was served in beakers which suited infants, when I asked for a bigger glass, I received a shurg of the shoulders, spirits and mixers were local brands, having not tasted them, was told by my partner and other guests that they were not nice,
We went into the front of the hotel which has a bar which was a lot better, but had to pay for drinks, but cheap, cocktail 241, staff in here were friendly maybe a over friendly at times but always had a smile on there faces and a helping hand if needed direction.
After speaking with the rep Aslan(very nice rep) and explaining about the rooms, he confirmed that he would sought it, his job must be hard with all the complaints he had to deal with, we booked a number of trips with him Turkish Bath, Rhodes, Lazy Day Boat, Talk of the Town, and Turkish Night is a must, and they were all enjoyable
The next day we all moved rooms but no pool view as it is at the back of the hotel and the rooms were on the sides of the hotel so it was the road or the market and the bins, you could see a corner of the pool,
Breakfast is not worth speaking about how hard is to boil an egg, cheese, fruit, cold meat, cereal, tea coffee juice, oh and cold beans, no toast.
There was four in our party and after the Turkish bath we headed back to the hotel for dinner, I tried to eat some but couldnt manage much, the others made do and made the best of it and that set the seen for the rest of the holiday, I on other were told that I was a fussy eater(we'll come to that later) the weather forecast for Tues night was rain, and as the clouds gather so did the thunder and lightening, what show, fork lightening like we had never seen before, then the rain started and it was a very heavy downpour, all guests inside but the horrible man behind the bar expected us to go outside to get drinks, so we got our own duty free drink and cracked them open and other guests followed suit and we all made good from a bad situation,
What ive wrote so far has not scratched the surface, I could go on and on, but its been written before so just read the bad reviews
To summarise
Rooms ok, could be cleaner, towels bed linen changed daily,
Dining Area also could do with being cleaner and a no go for cats,(a cat did its business in one of the plant pot while we were eating plus it doesn't help when other guests feed them)
Food in my opinion Awful, as one guest said "I wouldnt feed this to my dog"
Staff could do with learning basic english as there were a lot of english speaking guests.
So to sum it up DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.

Everything that has been said is 100% true, its awful !!!, I am a south London girl, and can do bargain bucket, but this is not basic, this is plain dirty, filthy, disgusting. The table cloths are so dirty, that you cant touch them, from previous days or weeks, the coke is own brand cola, luke warm from a bottle, the beer, my partner took a mouthful of beer, and he nearly vomited. The floors are littered throughout, the pool area is just grim and dirty, they have white chairs and tables that are no longer white, they are grey and filthy.O and hope you love the sound of wailing as right near a mosque. We could not take it the following day, we asked the rep to move us, this cost £190 worth every penny, the new hotel laughed when they saw us like this happens all the time. The rep told us I quote, the staff in the seray are the weirdest people he has every met, said they are a real strange lot. I think he summed them up totally!

Room Tip: The best rooms over look a side street, the worst like we had, a back alley full of litter.

I've just got back from this hotel, spent 14 nights there and really don't understand all the negative reviews it has received...
My wife and I were all inclusive, enjoy a drink but not heavy drinkers...
The room had air con - that worked...
Was clean and in fairly good condition...
Shower screen in bathroom needed a new strip of sealant but other than that it was good enough...
Staff were more than radiant to us - especially ASLAN - our rep who we saw every single day during our stay...
The food was relatively basic but its a Turkish hotel catering for Brits, Europeans, Eastern Europeans and their own people - so they need to try and please all of them... We found we could quite happily eat there on most occasions - are out a couple of times at breakfast because we wanted a fry up...
The only downside we found was the lack of entertainment within the hotel but we found this in the adjoining bar which was very amusing and cheap enough to drink or eat there...
