Went there last September, lovely place to stay. Clean rooms and very friendly staff, always ready to help. Nice food, please note that it's not a 5***hotel, so don't expect the food to be up to 5***standard. But you can always find something you like, very fresh fruits and vegetables. Really enjoyed an experience and definately would come back.

brilliant appartments we went in may & couldn't fault it what so ever a little walk to beach but not too far, i can not stress the weather in may was VERY hot so please bare this in mind if your taking a baby, the breakfast was about 5lira each at nearly every restaurant, no bugs etc in rooms, not really anything for the children tho. hope you enjoy your stay we did :) can i just state there is NO tabacconist shops so buy your duty free on the plane its cheaper than buying from a supermarket

Room Tip: dont miss the market its brilliant :)

Stayed here October 2011. Rooms were tidy and as expected although no tv as stated in brochure. beds very uncomfortable with stained sheets.bathroom facilities needed updating as shower only dribbled out and hot water was only provided on a morning and after 5pm for a short time. Had to pay for fridge.

The all inclusive bar was strangely separate from the cocktail bar which opened at 11. The all inc bar was in a mucky little hut with windows that looked like it used to be some sort of shed. Also, when you did get your drinks, there was no where to sit with your drinks as there was only seats in the dining area, a few times we had to resort to sitting in reception with our drinks when it was to cold to stay outside.

Hotel should not be all inclusive as drinks were watered down and lets not get started on the food - leftovers of some sort were served throughout the day. bread and cakes sometimes stale. Limited choices and sometimes cold food was served. Dining area was outside so often cold on a night time, the actual room where food was put on your plate was always open and any amounts of flies were always on the salads/desserts.

Stray cats everywhere in the dining area begging for food and on top of tables (table cloths never changed either.) Also, even though there was a sign up saying don't feed the stray cats there was a few occasions when we seen the chef or waiter come out the kitchen with a plate of food and put it down in the alley just outside the dining area feeding the cats.

When relaxing by the pool, in 10 days 3 cd's were played which got very repetitive

On our stay the power went out several times and the hotel had to resort to using a generator to run things. Which was loud and came on at around 5am, not something you want to hear when trying to sleep.

As for the staff, Ali and the other barmen were nice although the other one did not speak a word of English, same goes with the waiters and chef who were ignorant. Not once did the manager ask us if we were OK or were enjoying our stay. The receptionists were nice however and did speak English.

We moved to this hotel because the 1 we initially had was disgusting, we found all the staff very helpfull, friendly etc, the food was basic but you could make a nice meal of it, the drinks were chilled, proper coke etc, we found the rooms to be clean, spacious, cleaners came in everyday, would definately recommend this hotel.

Stayed for 5 days and it wasn't long enough! Food was average yes, but there was always at least 10 salads and fresh, crusty bread so you won't go hungry! The best bit about Long Beach was the staff, from the bar and pool staff, to the restaurant staff and hotel owner. They went out of their way to help, most noticeably on the last day when, after checking out we were allowed to use the facilities and even shower and get ready in a room before being picked up late in the evening for our flight. Pool and slide are great, location is great and you couldn't ask for more! Room was basic but clean, and much needed air-con was included in the price! Rooms were also cleaned daily, and as two young women we felt completely safe at Long Beach. Would go back tomorrow if we could!

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
LONG BEACH HOTEL has had a lot of TLC for season 2014 Long Beach Hotel started to work as an all inclusive in 2011, It is a lovely hotel that is conveniently located within walking distance of the lively streets of Marmaris where you will find all the buzzing restaurants, bars and clubs. A couple of minutes stroll and you are on the beach, with its long pedestrianized promenade that will take you to the harbour if you go in one direction and Icmiler if you go the other direction (lovely walk or bike ride on a summers evening) With the local bus (dolmus) you can go to just about anywhere, although we don't expect many people wanting to travel further afield with all that Marmaris has to offer. However if you decide to stay and lounge by the pool our staff will take good care of you with their friendly and welcoming attitude. Obviously bearing in mind what you pay to stay with us we are not a 4 or 5 star hotel so please don't expect this, what you can expect is a clean friendly basic budget hotel that offers good value for money and always keeps it real. ... more   less
