Just got back from a week here and we really enjoyed our stay, we found the hotel to be really clean, our room was perfect, bathroom great with wet room shower best i've ever had, food was good plenty to eat and good would have like to be able to sometimes heat it a bit so a microwave around would have been good, staff were all excellent very friendly and they always spoke to you too round about the hotel, wasnt too keen on the local booze but still managed quite a few!!! Annimation team very friendly and did try to get people involved because of the time of year it was not really busy but they did their best. Beach not far but wouldnt fancy it anyway really. All the shops round about were closing fast so not much nearby but loved Marmaris really busy dont know if I'd want to go in summer but we met some really nice people in the hotel so had a great time and would go back to this hotel

Room Tip: dont really know but our room was at the side and was a bit noisy if we left the door open but overa...

We booked this holiday last minute (arriving at the end of Oct 12) and were not disappointed. The hotel was modern, spotless, and our room was fantastic (we had a lounge area and a seperate bedroom). We have 2 boys under 6 who had a great time. The staff were helpful and friendly and the food was great. Would definately recommend.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel at the beginning of November. It was one of the few hotels that remained open in Marmaris at this time of the year.

Trying to find the hotel was not easy as the sign is at low level and there was a car parked in front of the sign - however the next door police station was able to assist us in finding it.

Parking was (at this time of year) very easy - directly outside the hotel on the forecourt.

We booked the room through Booking.com on an 'all inclusive' basis. When we arrived because we had booked through Booking.com we were advised that we had a free bar in the room and free use of the safe, both of which would otherwise have been extra.

On registering, the hotel seemed unable to use the first credit card that I offered (though it was acceptable everywhere else we used it). I am hoping that I do not get charged for the three attempts that they made. A different credit card worked.

The room and the hotel were very clean.

The room itself was modern and spacious. The bathroom was of a good size, but the toilet has been set about 50 - 75mm to high - I am about 5'11" tall, and when seated could only just touch the floor.

The all inclusive element was good for beers and some spirits, particularly Raki, but as usual for an all inclusive deal in Turkey, the wines were absolutely appaulling.

The food was reasonable, and fairly standard for 'mass catering', but could have been a bit better.

The breakfast was relatively basic, and the coffee not brilliant.

The personal hygiene of the staff needs to be questioned as the BO at breakfast from some of the staff was truly awful and virtually vomit inducing - the management need to deal with this issue.

There was free WIFI in the main lounge/lobby area (a paid for version was available in the rooms) - this was virtualy unusable as it was so incredibly slow in the early evening as to be unusable. The following morning with no-one else using it , it was at least 8 - 10 times quicker. Whilst hotels often charge for internet access, this should in this age be a free and reasonably quick service - what we got at the hotel (when it was relatively quiet) was very, very poor.

Whilst we did not use the spa they were offering a cheap deal on a turkish bath/massage combination.

Whilst good at this time of year and we would probably return, we would not want to visit Marmaris in the summer as we feel it would be far to busy, crowded and noisy.

Room Tip: If there are rooms away from the poolside they might be quieter when the disco starts up

First impressions are very grand and beautiful. The reception area is impressive and the reception staff are nice. Then we get taken to a room in a part of the hotel that is completely disregarded and lacking basic cleaning standards, we called this cell block H or Pikey towers. The maid visited most days during our 2 week stay, however I am still trying to figure out what she actually done, the shower and balcony were only cleaned ONCE in the whole 2 weeks with 6 people sharing a room, and the loo rolls were very rarely topped up, meaning we had to take these ourselfs. And the view of the junk yard was not very nice and our bedroom window was a bout 2 meters away from another hotels bedroom!!!! The beds wernt too bad considering thou, only one pillow which is fine, but the bed collapsed a few times on my mum on the camp bed they put up overcrowding the other room, so I guess her bed wasnt very nice.

Before the negative, I want to say a positive. There was one outstanding, continuously helpful/friendly and happy member of staff there called Ahmet!!! He was amazing and a 6 star employee. Always happy and smiling, working very hard every second he was there. Always welcoming to everyone and was a breath of fresh air. I cannot sing this man's praises enough, he was amazing. Also one blonde lady at reception with curly hair was always very pleasant and Dogan the bell boy was very nice.

The Room:
Far to small to accommodate 6 adults! We were made to think we had an apparent between us, when in reality it was 2 seperate rooms and a tiny bathroom (no living area as advertised as this was actually a very tiny corridor where the sofa was made into a bed) There was barely any space for 6 adults to share and was not impressed with the maids cleaning skills, the floor was discusting.

The Food:
No I am fussy, but could eat everyday, but it wasnt very good quality, no good for kids either, Was very dissapointed in the service in the restruant, the waiters were un friendly and miserable and worst of all very smelly which often put you off your food, they would snatch your plate away from you when you had barely finished, and when you went to go get a drink they would serve other staff members before their guests. Now there is wonderful salad stuff fresh everyday and was lovely, but I ate chicken and chips pretty much every day which makes u a bit sick of it after 2 weeks.and it was all samey, the price of a meal outside the hotel was so cheap and the quality was amazing, I would never go bk to Turkey and do all in again.

The Bar:
Rude bar staff again. Also served staff before guests, oh they were slightly nicer when I had a lower cut top on but then they were more pervy than friendly then! Limited choice of drinks, basically vodka, beer (which was minging) or wine (which was also minging) another reason not to go all inclu! The bar area was very tidy and clean though, except they allow stray cats to roam around and sit on chairs and tables, a few fleas landed on me several times, but then again I dont think the guests that were feeding them helped, but even so, they should have been shooed by staff and told the guests not to feed these flea ridden mongrels. Also there was one waiter out there that seemed to take a liking and a bit pushy to young girls under the age of 16, so parents keep your eye on them.

All Inclu:
Never knew an all inclusive to charge 10 Lira a night per child to join their kids club??? Discussing! It should be FREE!!!

Main Pool Area:
Very clean and nice, but very small for the amount of rooms in the hotel and the sunlight only last from 11am to 2pm in this area if you get up at 7am to get a good bed! The other smaller pool area has sunlight most of the day, but isnt very clean (out of sight out of mind is a reoccuring theme to this hotel) Bird pooh all over the sun longers and horriable manky green carpet all around, I would not go round there yuck!

The Shop:
Tried to Rip most of our party off everytime we visited, CHECK YOUR CHANGE EVERY TIME. Also the exchabnge rate is the lowest in turkey, so venture out the hotel. Very expensive too! DONT BOTHER WITH THIS SHOP!!!!!

NO ICE CREAM ANYWHERE ON THE COMPLEX :( they say they sell it by the pool side, this is not true and also why are they selling ice cream if we all inclusive???? Never heard that one before.

Hairdressers:
Brilliant, cheap and very thorough.

The main rooms by the pool has smashed windows for the entire time we were there, which could have seriously hurt someone if it fell out, but again, there was no concern about this by staff, maybe because it was towards the end of the season, they just stopped caring, but it was hideous how rude the bar/waiting staff were.

They had security, but something kicked off one night and they were needed, but they just sat back and watched, baring in mind there were small children around. On that subject of small children, the entertainers seemed only to play darts or water polo for day time entertainment (and this was maybe a handful of times, not everyday) and they would play songs during the day containing some of the worst swear words you ever hear!

Despite all the negatives, we had a good time, but this was no way because of the hotel, this is because of the company we keep and the one and only Ahmet. No way should this be a 4 star hotel it should be a 2 or 3 star max (I would have not made such a fuss if the star rating was lower, as you would expect lower level of service.

I hope this is helpful, really trying not to moan, but the management really needs to rethink something.

Top Tip: Go stay at the Pineta Park Deluxe 4 star plus hotel if you want to go all inclu in Turkey, but I wouldnt bother with all inclu again as the food is so cheap and good quality. Post places £1.50 for a full english breakkie :)

Dont bother changing your money either, just pay everything in English, its easier and most of the time works out cheaper.

The hotel does look lovely and is kept clean in the main areas like the bar and reception, and main pool, but this is not enough, just goes to show beauty is only skin deep with this hotel. Very disappointing!!!!! Will not be going back again!

Room Tip: Get a room with a pool side view thats lower down (you see the maids clean these more often) as its...

We arrived last week for a weeks get away. When we got to our hotel we was all very pleasantly surprised with the look of the place. The communal areas are very stunning and open.
We ate the resturant which always had an excellent choice for our party. The staff were all pleasant enough.
We used the kids club everyday which was my 5 year old sons choice, he lived it. The lady was excellent with the children and made them all have a fab time.
The Rooms were good but the main disappointment has to be the lack of cleaning....our sheets and towels were never changed even after asking the cleaner twice, no empty glasses were removed and the bathroom/ balcony/floors was never cleaned. People ha left there emptys outside there room which was left there for days.
The only other disappointment has got to be the lak of adult entertaining in the evening. The music stopped playing around 9pm. Apart from lunchtime darts/ bingo there was no entertainment at all which ment we had to pay to go outside of the hotel!
The bars in the hotel stopped serving drinks a 11.30 which while ou are on holiday is absolutely ridiculous!
To round it all up hotel is lovely, kids club great, swimming pool freezing and very slippery, food fantastic, cleaning in rooms awful, cleaning in communal area is great.
Hope this helps

We have just today arrived back from a one week stay at the Blue Bay Platinum and I must say we were greatly impressed. We are a family of 6 and our apartment was perfect. Our room was cleaned and clean towels every day but one.The staff in general were excellent, nothing ever being a problem for them. The were very friendly and courteous.I must give a special mention to Katie who worked in the Kids Club,an absolute star. Her work seems very repetitive but she always carries out her tasks with great pride and you can tell that she enjoys it.

The only fault I would have is that there is no ice cream or ice lollies for the children in the all inclusive package, this would have made it perfect. My children loved it and are looking to return again next year.

again another excellent stay at BlueBay, just as amazing as septembers! every single staff member work to the best of there ability, reception, cleaners, waiters ect, and this shows in the high standards that are set. The animation team, JJ, Jian and Yasemin never fail to welcome me back to my second home and they still do an amazing job, my holiday without them would be dull! you cant fault them at all, they are the friendliest people in the entire world and look after me when i visit, like all the staff do! No other hotel compares to BlueBays and its staff.
