Hotel was fantastic
Staff were so friendly and accommodating as we came as a family with a 14month old baby.
Room was massive as we had an apartment out back of hotel with a fantastic view.
Rooms where cleaned everyday and fresh sheets and towels left everyday
As I have been on many holidays and its been every other day!

Negative side was there was no play area for children as this hotel was a 5* and family oriented I found this a down side to the hotel.

The children's swimming pools were in a corner constantly in shade and was very cold found this a bad design as children would use the pool more than adults

i stayed at the bluebay platinum for two weeks and the hotel was a lovley place to stay however you are chasing the sun. the entertainment staff wasvery friendly and welcoming however it did finish a bit early in the night and had no disco, why would you want to pay for your drinks in bar street if you are all inclusive i dongt understand. Sinan and Toxic made me laugh all the time and well their manager he had me in stitches i was crying of laughter one night that much i nearly couldnt do the show. the food was okay i had some nice meals but i went back to the chicken chips and gravy lol. i would go back there next year but i think it would be better if they had a disoc back at the hotel and the entertainment lasted a bit longer in the night. they had a black n white party and that was amazing that was the best night apart from the show i participated in.

my husband and I stayed at blue bay platinum for 1 week 21st September to 28th September, the hotel has been refurbished to a great standard, from the outside it is very impressive and continues throughout the hotel, the corridors are light and airy, the rooms are decorated very tastefully, a few negatives, only small wardrobe no drawers, no tea facilities in room, clean towels every day but sheets not changed nor was floor swept. The food was varied, plenty of choice, tho at breakfast fried eggs were not cooked to order but fried and piled into container same with pancakes, apart from these the hotel is very central and would consider returning .

Room Tip: higher rooms, pool view

i went to blue bay platinum with my friends this summer and we were really excited to see that beautiful view and meet warm atmosphere. i just would like everyone to know that this hotel is worse to see. we had really nice room and unforgetable nights. the food was all right, and we never got boring, all thanks to animation team, they gave us a lot of laugh. especially we d like to thnk Sinan for his awsome sense of humor. a haven't seen such friendly and truly outgoing person, though i used to have holidays in turkey a lot of times. i guess that's it, if you want to go to marmaris, choose this hotel you ll not regret.

This hotel on arrival really has the WOW factor, its very impressive to look at.
We stayed for 2 weeks 13th September, our room was very small for the family of 3, we had a few issues with our patio doors not locking but this was sorted out for us. There was a lot of previous comments about sunbeds, this was still an issue, but because hotel has restricted sun in certain areas you needed to be up early to get a bed in prime location, but there were always beds available just not in the sun. The restaurant was very impressive and food standard good, after staying two weeks it got a bit boring, but this is same in all hotels. Bar and restaurant staff so friendly and efficient. Olga from guest relations was always chatting to make sure guests were happy.
Entertainment could be better but as we had a young child it suited us.
Overall we had a great holiday, hotel close to beach promenade and about 30 minute walk to marina.

Went here for 2 weeks, with my partner and child (aged 4) it was great, the hotel is very modern, clean, smart and Welcoming, and helpful, we arrived at half 5 in the morning and was greeted straight away and our luggage was taken to our rooms for us straight away, we was given a really nice room, and given a pool view which i asked for, with 3 single beds (could have been pushed together to make a double) with a Fridge, a wall mounted Tv, and the Bathroom with a Fantastic Shower, the only one bad thing i can say is i wanted another Bin in the room, But the one bin there was was emptied every day, the rooms were cleaned every day if you wished, the bedding wasnt changed unless you took it off the bed yourself but thats nothing that bothered me, the towels where fresh everyday, you could chose to press a button to not be disturbed if you didnt want your room doing, When it came to taking advantage of the All Inclusive, we did, the Food was Great a great range of stuff to chose from (if you not a picky eater) and the Drinks that where offerd where good too, Beer on tap, Vodka, Armaretto, Raki, Fizzy Drinks and 5 different Cocktails where available, The Restaurant was Big and offered alot of tables for small and large families/parties, and high chairs for Babies, the times was very good, Breakfast 7:30am - 10am, Dinner 12:30pm - 2pm, and Tea was 6:30pm - 9:30pm then there was a Super which was Soup and Bread which was 10:30pm - 11:30pm Also if you didnt want to get dressed during the day the sit inside the restaurant at Dinner times there was a Snack Bar near to the outside bar, which was open from 12 - 4pm, and you was allowed to take your plate of food to your Sun Beds, The Pool was rather Big there are 3 pools, 2 children pools and one pool that had 2 slides (they was good) the entertainment was very good, all the entertainers where a good laugh and could speak excellent english, and there was a different show on every night, THERE WAS A FANTASTIC KIDS CLUB which in my case i let my little girl take part in, the kids club rep was geat she is called Katie, she is english but can speak Turkish and was brilliant with the Kids, and was so much help (especially towards my holiday), The Bar staff was all so bubbly and could understand english so good, The hotel was so close to local shops other bars, and a 5 minute walk to the Beach, Overall i can say i absolutely loved my Holiday, and would go stay there again for sure, and would recommend this place to anyone <3 <3 <3 :D :D :D *Thanks so much to Katie (the kids club entertainer) and thank you Mimi (Emett the bartender) and all the other entertainers, bartenders, chefs, salon workers, and the Shop for selling those Lovely Cheese and onion nick nack type crisps xx xx

To be honest i just dont know where to start regarding this hotel, we arrived on the 20th and our first impressions where like " yes got a really nice hotel here!!", however the second that we check in things just go downhill from there. First off we booked a Double room through T/C and obviously paying for this i would assume i would be given this however we were told there was no double rooms and tried to give us a twin room, at first i thought it was a joke but the hotel staff didn't seem one bit concerned of what i had booked, no offer of appology or nothing.

First night stayed in a twin room 2512, thats the top floor by the way, and we all know how heat rises and situated at the corner so we were engulfed by heat the second we walked in. The room was tiny and after reading previous reviews i can see this is the general consensus with this hotel.

Day 2, after many trips to the recepiton desk we eventually get our double room and to be fair it was nice, quite spacious, large bathroom, however more problems occured, not only did the bathroom smell so bad the sink's plug wouldn't pop back up and so left the sink flowing with water. Plus to our excitement the balcony door had a faulty lock which meant the door wouldn't lock properly leaving us feeling a little bit vulnerable to potential thieves.

At this point in my holiday i gave up even to bother about changing rooms as i had only paid for a week and i just wanted to relax for the rest of the time i was here and it would have caused more problems to flit between rooms.

I'll be honest the hotel staff weren't the great either, i dont know how i would of felt working in a hotel in those temperatures and serving food and drink all day, but to some of them it would killed of them to smile or even be nice when ordering drinks. I know people who will be reading this after visiting Blue Bay will be cursing me and giving great reviews about their experience, however at the end of the day its all down to your own personal experience and i just felt for a hotel that was just refurbished and to the outsider looks a cracking hotel, it could have looked after its guests a little bit better.

The food was good though and if you aren't a fussy eater then you will enjoy the food as there was always a good selection of choices and kept you going back up for more. The entertainment was good day and night, at times it got annoying but it's their job at the end of the day to entertain its guests.

The sunbed scenario, again another issue with this hotel which to be fair i didn't really have an problem with but i did notice a few mornings that people slept on them as though their life depended on it, one morning in particular i woke up at 5am to see a couple on 2 of the sunbeds and some towels scattered around on the other ones.

All in all i wouldn't go back and i wouldn't recommend this hotel, i felt i was more a number to this hotel than a guest, but then again this is my experience and i know others will totally disagree with me.
