Just spent a fortnight in Marmaris, stayed at the Ayhan Apartments,we did the sensible thing and had private transfers to apartments, got there and Sam and Memet ( bar staff ) greeted us, very polite and helpful, its was 01.00 and we had a drink with Sam, really good accommodations, clean, well tended by the maid every day, bar staff were brilliant and always polite and very helpful, food was top notch and very reasonably priced, coming from Yorkshire thats a big plus !!! will definately return to these apartments, great time had by all of our party and the weather was brilliant, make sure you visit the Always bar and restuarant, just over the road for a really good night, ask for Jeremy Kyle and you wont be disappointed

We arrived very early in the morning. The bad thing was out coach driver had no idea where to go!
Anyway, we were on the first floor and the apartment was basic and you know what? It was very spacious!
The whole room was spotless and very clean. I must commend the maids on their fantastic job of cleaning it EVERYDAY! It was like arriving in a new room every time.
We had a view of the pool which was fantastic. The only downside is it was about 10 minutes to the beach which didn't seem to matter.
The location was pretty much central and close to all the shops and clubs.
The only annoying part was no having air conditioning (would have had to pay) which seemed very silly considering the weather was reaching 45 degrees C !!
The beds: I slept well in them, however it was a nightmare to ask for an extra pillow in the middle of the night to a reception that claimed to be open 24/7. The beds could be more comfortable.
The advantage was having a restaurant outside the apartment. Maybe there should have been like a customer/guest discount to eating in the restaurant but saying that... The food was absolutely amazing.

Room Tip: Choose a room with a pool view.

let me start by saying the apartments are spotless! cant fault it!!
the location is great, cross the road and your at the beach! A 30 min or so stroll from Bar st, but this is easy if you walk it down the beach front.

the Staff are friendly enough, Sam was always smiling,

Pool is a little small and there is no entertainment, it would have been nice to just have 1 night chilling in the hotel with some entertainment but hey ho!

restaurant is very good value But the food is soooo much better elsewhere so you kind of get what you pay for. we ate at Club Kibele (hotel and restaurant next door) most nights. But we ate Breakfast at Ayhan everyday and couldnt fault it! great for like 7tl each including a drink. my soft eggs were perfect everyday. I did eat the pizza set meal 1 day and did get an upset stomach, the reason why i know it was due to Ayhan was because for breakfast i ate at Ayhan and the pizza was at lunchtime, i hadnt eaten anywhere else that day. This may have just been a 1 off but i couldnt risk eating lunch or dinner again after.

when booking at Ayhan, be careful of any requests you have. when i booked (months before we were travelling) i had requested a late check out and offered to pay as our flight wasnt until the night. i also then emailed Ayhan several times leading up to my holiday to remind them of this and they said this was fine for a £20 fee which i agreed.

but the night before we were leaving, i went to pay the £20, they said this isnt possible now as they re-booked our room out! NICE OF THEM TO TELL ME!!!
this meant that me and my partner with 2 massive suitcases were out on the streets after 12pm checkout and they didnt seem to care!

our flight wasnt until 11.30 so we had 8 hours of sitting on the road with our suitcases and they didnt seem to care.

In the end, the Manager at Club Kibele next door saw us on the street and found us an empty room in his hotel which had just been cleaned and was ready to use. we were also able to use all their facilitiesd etc until we were picked up that evening. he charged us £30 for this but i was more than happy to pay as their rooms were massive. He couldnt believe how they just made us leave like that with no concern of where we were going to go. he was also astonished at the fact they didnt even bother to let us know until the night before. I was in tears my last night because i knew we was going to be out on the street with all our belongings for hours. Thanks god for the nice man at Kibele

I have just returned from an 8 day stay at these apartments and I have to say it was the worst place I had ever stayed in. My husband and I both cried when we saw the room, it was the attic room on the 4th floor and it was so small, the beds were like sleeping on concrete blocks, the balcony was surrounded by a 5 foot brick wall, you could just get your head over the top for some fresh air, the air conditioning unit was within this balcony so it was awful, of course we asked to swap rooms but were told we couldn't, we paid £25 for air conditioning which was a rip off, it just blew warm air around the room. We asked at the time of booking for a late check out because we had a night flight but when it came to it, they said no, thank god for Club Dena just around the corner, staff and facilities top notch. There are so many value for money places to stay in Marmaris, avoid this one like the plague!

Room Tip: I can't add any tips to these apartments other than avoid

We have just returned from a 2 week stay in the Ayhan Apartments which are situated directly behind their restaurant. The staff never hassle you to eat there and the couple of meals we had were nice although they don't have home made chips as advertised!

The only complaint we had about the apartments is that we didn't always have hot water. The staff didnt seem to think this was a problem but we did. We are not in the army so didn't really appreciate having to take cold showers. This would not deter us from going back but would like to think they could sort out their water problem

Room Tip: the rooms facing the pool have sun on the balcony in the morning and the ones to the rear have sun i...
