Only been back a couple of weeks and we are missing our time away. Great food great entertainment and comfortable rooms. Air con in the rooms is a must and they work well (just don't turn them too low) Rooms are cleaned daily, fresh towels if you need them. Restaurants serve a nice mixture some English favourites and some from all around the world so you will find something you like.( Little puddings to test your resolve) Entertainment staff are a little crazy but if you don't want to have a go they will leave you alone, always something happening, (archery, darts, water polo, pool aerobics) So if you want a relaxed holiday or one filled with activities then come along.
P.S the weather is great too.

Spent 10 days at the Julian club with my partner and our 4 year old daughter. The hotel itself is really clean, rooms cleaned daily along with bedding and towels. Only downside I would say are the poolside toilets they could be doing with a clean a few times a day especially since the floors get so wet and slippery. The food is great cannot complain plenty of choice. Only downside is the kids buffet (bolognese every lunch and evening dinner).
If you weren't down at the pool by 8am (latest) you would have no chance of getting a bed as they seem to be reserved by the same people every day.
the YOLO ENTERTAINMENT TEAM were amazing by far the best part of Julian club, they work so hard every day from the kids clubs to the evening entertainment. Everyone loved them!

Just returned home with my husband and daughter aged 16! Had an amazing time! The Yolo entertainment team were brilliant! Never let you have a bad day! My 2 fav entertainers were Ayko and Tito! All of the entertainers were brilliant with kids and also got everyone involved and never let a person feel left out! They never failed to make me laugh during the day!! The hotel was spotless, always clearing up after you! Barmen were always so friendly and helpful! The waiters were very good! Would deffo return return next year! Absolutely love it!!

Stayed here end of June beginning of July, arrived at half 1 in the morning and got given a room with a double bed in which asked for twin but they happily sorted it out the next day and got given a room on the top floor which had such good views. Good location. About 50p to get into Marmaris town which is like 5 10minutes away. Food was good they had a good variety of things salad curry pizza pasta chicken meatballs etcs, they made there own pizza pancakes and omelettes which were nice! Always could find something to eat. There icecream is amazing! Good drinks choice. Staff were helpful and cleaned your room everyday. Had air con in the room which was free and we paid for a safe. Couldn't fault the hotel at all looking at booking to go back. Booked our trips with ago travel which is just down the road they were very helpful we did jeep safari, Turkish bath. boat trip to turtle beach and mudbaths and quad bikes very good value for money and good fun!

I have just returned with my wife our 3 children from our stay at this hotel and have to say overall it was Excellent value. We booked a Family room (not just the standard room which many complain was too small). The room was cleaned on a daily basis and towels changed if required. The food was good however i do agree it can be a bit of a cattle market trying to get your food. (Russians are mega rude and have obviously never eaten before and not aware that the food is replenished regularly). Entertainment is excellent with the YOLO team providing constant entertainment, special mention to Ayko and Tito who were fantastic although the latter did keep touching my bum (He's obviously not made of wood). Within the complex is a Jeweler named Frankie who is absolutely brilliant, you can buy the finest gold and diamonds from his shop at a fraction of the price you pay in the UK. My wife bought a ring and had it valued over here at 4 x the amount we paid in Turkey. The sunbeds are a little tricky to get however if you get up and put your towels down at 08.00 you will have no problem at all. If you do fancy a change of scenery there are several bars just off the hotel as well as the busy town of Marmaris which is a 15 minute walk. Overall this is an excellent hotel when you weigh up what you pay for what you get. Obviously it cannot be compared to 5 star hotels which you pay more than twice the price for. If you have a family and enjoy a laugh then i fully recommend booking Club Julian. Again Special mention to Frankie (the Jeweler) and Ayko and Jay (entertainment team)

Room Tip: If you book the hotel Direct you will get not only a cracking price but also free late check out, Wi...

We arrived quite late on Friday 27th June to a very friend and efficient reception staff. We were booked in quickly and received help with our bags to our room 2505. We walked into a spacious but very outdated room with a wonderful view of the pool and surrounding areas. On closer inspection though I was really gutted....sat down in the bed and cried. The air con was only in one of our rooms and out children's bedroom was roasting hot. Opened the balcony door to find a air conditioning fan blowing hot air through the doors. Not Impressed at all. I went down to complain the following morning but nothing could be done until the following day....we were in a family room but could only stay in a standard room so we decided to stay put.
So the good points.- Majority of the staff are friendly and helpful, place is immaculate and they are cleaning continuously. The YOLO entertainment team were fantastic with the kids and try to get everyone involved although it did get slightly annoying when they don't take no for an answer the first time. The supermarket staff, the gift shop, tattooist and beauty salon staff were 100% courteous and polite and loved having a chat and banter with you. We really enjoyed meeting them all. Most of the bar staff were lovely, tables were cleared almost straight away but did have a problem finding cutlery once they had removed your plate. Fantastic selection of drinks and was so pleased when I found they had lipton ice tea on tap (our fav)!
The bad.- there is simply not enough sunbeds for everyone....even carnage erupted when people had put towels down only to be swiftly removed by staff. Unless you stay with your sunbed you lose it. What I thought was quite bad was they only removed certain towels and left others- if your going to remove one - remove them all!!! alot of unhappy guests. Even tho the waiter staff were very attentive removing your plate when you finished we did have a couple of occasions where it seemed they were waiting for you to put the last forkfull in your mouth and even picked up the plate before you had a chance to put your cutlery down. They even took a drink out of my hand because I was coming to the end of it....just found it quite invasive.
Although I stated the YOLO team were amazing which they were ! they were a bit too in your face for my liking and was glad to leave the hotel for a bit of peace.
OK let's talk about the food....its very hard for a hotel to cover a wide range of tastes for different cultures etc but we found the meal times very disappointing. Half the time it did not resemble what it was meant to be and half the meat was floating in fluids which looked less than desirable. Alot of it was not warm and very repetitive. The breakfasts were :-( if you want a cooked breaky with bacon and sausage etc your going to be disappointed. Beans were cold ...scrabbled egg looked like the powdered stuff and mushrooms were covered in garlic and onions....This did not tickle our taste buds at all. Fresh fruit was available however along with continental breakfasts. The rooms are NOT 4* we had chipped bed side tables and I mean huge gouges out of it. Bed sheets were like sand paper and YOU DO NOT get rose petals and pretty patterns made with your towels as seen on the website. When we complained about the room I said this is not really a 4* room to the receptionist and she agreed! I said the photos on the website are very misleading she said oh those photos are of our executive suites and junior suites!!!! you can pay extra for them ! another £300 for our stay. Shocking!
Our door card did not work EVERYDAY and being on the 4th floor this got really really annoying. We ended up going through at least 12 cards with no offer to get someone to fix the door.
The UGLY. The behavior and demeanor of some of the GUESTS was truly shocking. Large groups walking ground like they owned the place. Unruly children squaring up to other children and stealing their inflatables. spurting other guests with water pistols which ended up in a free for all and a heated argument by the children's pool. Security was called and defused the situation. Members of this group also drinking from morning to night and being mouthy and confrontational. Although this is NOT the hotels fault, however the manager insisted there was nothing he could do about it....but I disagree he could have had a word with the said group and warned them about their behaviour.....and drinking habits.
This was not classy behavior alot of other guests wanted to complain but were too scared for fear of reprisals off the unruly guests. Again not the hotels fault but there should be a drinking and behaviour policy.
On our 3rd night we seen two waiters have a argument which resulted in one of them throwing a chair at a table. I couldn't believe my eyes. There seem to be some degree of bullying amongst the waiters/bar staff in general which is evident when your waiting to be served.

We were fortunate enough to be transferred to their sister hotel 5* Julian forest this was poles apart from julian club. We would definitely return to julian forest again as they had a better standard of clientele, food and location.

We went out to turkey to the julian to suprise my niece and her family we arrived on the saturday morning very early and were welcomed by a lovely fellow and were dealt with very quickly. First impression very good,we had 2 days before the rest of the family came so took in a village trip we loved that well worth the money we have been going to turkey for 20 years and know whats what we also have alot of friends who when we first got to know them they were kids who knew little english and now have their own pubs.As we are alot older than the parents who have children the noise they create is mind blowing dont get me wrong thats what children do but we had to go out quite alot to give our lugs a break, you cannot foult the hotel its very good in all departments from the food to the rooms to the entertainment 10 out of 10. I must put this little beware ditty in do not let the children go to the little on sight shop on their own because the guy there will let them buy anything they want then tell them to send their mum or dad to see him of course the kids have opened the sweets crisps etc so you have to pay so beware.

Room Tip: The top floors offer good views and are alot quieter
