Very expensive. we walked along the harbor one night. and we found out all the restaurants are more expensive here than on the main streets. We still came and ate at Mr cook as it wasn't as busy as the others. We we told we got free Turkish bread, 3 milkshakes for our 3 children and free tea after the meal. The meal was 230, for 5 of us, which was more expensive than we have paid for any meal in turkey and it certainly wasnt the best. the portians were small. I had sweet and sour chicken which tasted like weak and cheap sauce with chicken, so not very pleased. Drinks were good size. Be careful as they ask you if you want lots of extra things, as they charge for a plate of mezes, chips, and many other small things you assume are for free.

We walked along the harbour looking for a nice restaurant to eat in. We passed Mr Cook and the guy outside definitely knew how to charm us. He offered us free Turkish bread, a free cocktail after our meal and as we decided to carry on walking he offered us 10% off our bill. We decided to go in.

Firstly we got the wine menu and ordered a Rose. The cheapest bottle was 75TL and to be fair was no better than any other bottles we have had for half the price.

The waiter/owner then came and asked us if we would like Turkish bread and meze. We mentioned the free bread and he did his best to sell us the meze. All other restaurants also include this for free.

We then both ordered the fillet steak. The steak was average and came with only a few wedges and vegetables.

Finally, the cocktails. We had to remind them that we should get free cocktails. It turned out we didn't get to pick the cocktails as we were told. We got given a blue cocktail which was no more than curaçao and lemonade.

Now the bill. The bill came and had the wine 75TL, two steaks 64TL and water 8TL. No sign of the 10% discount. When we questioned this we had received the discount but it was cancelled out by the hidden service charge!

Very disappointed, it was average, overpriced food with average service.

The better reviews must be relating to the Icemeler restaurant, ate here 10th Aug 2013 and got ripped off, brings seperate salad and chips and charge extra for these then rips you off on the drinks, charged 15tl for a small bottle of efes, 4.50 GBP when I complained he reduced it to 12.50tl still very expensive, meal and drinks for three came to 190tl about 75 pounds, had same meals and drinks for 30 pounds elsewhere.

My son (14) and I ate here on 1st August 2013. The service was quick, the food was superb!
We ordered starters and bread and drinks, which all arrived in a few minutes.
My son is a fussy eater, and wanted a pasta meal. I was told the pasta was handmade in the kitchen. He ate the whole bowl, which was an adult size portion and some!
I had fish, which turned out to be a good choice and it was well cooked and very tasty!
The butter paste with the bread starter was amazing, not sure what it was, but we both enjoyed this delicious turkish twist.
I ate in this restaurant 4 years ago, so not sure if it is the same people or name, but it was so good I came back and wasn't disappointed.

A group of friends and I went in for a late lunch/early dinner at this restaurant. We were offered a 20% discount and free flatbread by a staff menu and thus decided to give the place a chance. We were the only customers at the moment, our food took almost an hour to be served, all 4 plates were terrible! all of us left half the plate because the food was so dissatisfying. When we got the bill, there was no discount. Once we complained to the waiter he came back giving a 10% discount as they had omitted the 10% service charge ( and argued this was equivalent to the 20% off offer). As we complained that this was not what we were told, and voiced our disappointment over the service, food quality and deception, the waiter was extremely rude basically saying we shouldn't complain over being given a discount, as nowhere in Europe can you get discounts off your bill. The fact is, if the staff offers a deal, they should abide by it and not resort to gimmicks and totally unacceptable customer service. Avoid this place, it was the worst experience in Marmaris, they do not hold their end of the bargain.
