The Architecture and interior design of this hotel inspires u to own a house similar to it. The rooms are so clean spacious white! Even The bed is so relaxing... Accessing the beach through a cart or bike passing by the cute restarsnts and bridges.... Till you get to the beach with a white sandy crystal clear water...the breeze restaurant offers v good sea food...try their octopus and seabass...

Just returned from a fabulous week at the D Resort. What a find. This very stylish hotel exceeded our expectations by miles. The breakfast selection is amazing. The staff are incredibly helpful and welcoming. The beach is superb. Clear turquoise water, white sand and waiter service and a very chilled 'Ibizia style' vibe. You can ride there by golf cart or take one of the hotel bikes. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and the gardens are beautiful. (the website doesn't really show the beautiful newly renovated bedrooms) The beach restaurant is in the most incredible setting. Situated right in the marina minutes walk from many restaurants, shops and bars this hotel had everything we look for in a relaxing beach break.

Very contemporary hotel with great attention to detail. Spacious serene environment, calm, understated décor in grey and blues. Felt very relaxed all week. Trip to golden sand beach on the golf cart (or by bike) was good fun through the marina which is a very upmarket development. Sand was imported from Egypt to create a tropical beach haven, not too dissimilar to those we have visited in the Caribbean. 2 bays with blue, turquoise water, and jetties with plenty of loungers. Yes hotel is expensive to eat, but the Breeze restaurant at the beach is very romantic, jettied right out into the sea. They have everything down to a T, with the blinds going up and the soft lanterns coming on the minute the sun goes down! We ate out in the little town which is on the doorstep which has plenty of character, bars and restaurants and surprisingly not too much different in prices to the hotel. Imported booze is expensive in Turkey, so we stuck to cocktails which are about 30 TL in the town and same in hotel! Turkish people are very welcoming and hard working and yes they get a bit carried away by whipping your plate away before the cutlery comes down, but its a cultural thing, its their way of being efficient! Don't bother going to Fethiye or Olu Deniz, over-rated (not for nothing the view of the lagoon is taken from thousands of feet up in the air). We took one look at this and the mad Tuesday morning market in Fethiye and came back to the hotel! But if you are on the look-out for designer bags, there is a great little shop in the market souk. All designer bags are made in Istanbul and the factories make really good copies in buttery soft leather that are hard to distinguish from the real thing.

Room Tip: As long as you ask for a double room with a balcony you should be OK.

We only used the beach and ate at the restaurant, we didn't stay in the hotel (but wish we had).

The beach was gorgeous with lovely blue and green sea. The cabanas on the jetties were brilliant to lie in to have a rest from the sun and there were plenty of beds - it was very quiet when we visited so hardly any were used but I can imagine that even in the height of summer there should be enough.

The food in the restaurant was nice and although expensive it was huge! Did feel the drinks were a bit of a rip off - think we paid about £8 for two cokes! The day pass for the beach was also expensive (about £15 each) given that you didn't get anything included but it was a lovely beach so we were ok about paying it. Also, final negative was the music they blast out at lunchtimes. It doesn't need to be that loud, and would also be better if they played something more in keeping with the location (chillout or jazz) as opposed to hits from the 90s.

We are delighted with the elegant luxury of our deluxe, poolside room with its own little private terrace overlooking the marina. The hotel is indeed a beautiful and ultra-modern design set amongst gardens, lighted walkways and 3 pools. The reception and breakfast staff try very hard to satisfy every need and cannot be faulted in their professionalism. However, what lets it all down very badly is the extremely poor communication with the other staff, particularly regarding requests from room service and housekeeping for items such as tea, coffee, clean cups, replacement toiletries, toilet rolls, pool towels etc., in our room. They have the irritating habit of removing used cups, bottled water, pool towels and empty toiletry bottles but not replacing them and when you call to request a replacement it is almost impossible to explain what you want as the respondent doesn't understand. Consequently, we have found ourselves dripping from the pool by our room, only to discover our pool towels had gone but had not been replaced! Similarly, needing a cup of coffee in our room after a long day out, our used cups had been removed but not replaced and no coffee sachets either, so a difficult conversation ensued to request two clean cups. However, 2 hours later, nothing had arrived, so I walked over to the breakfast area and just took back two cups to our room, gasping for a cup of coffee by this time!! Even by the time we went to bed, no replacement cups had arrived so, clearly my original request hours earlier had disappeared into the ether! This happened on countless occasions with different requests so there is a real customer support issue here as nothing seems to get passed on. We have had a great holiday in Gocek and love the hotel but it is a very expensive hotel so one expects a much better in-room service than this.

I visited this hotel for a site visit and dinner after a Gulet trip along the Turkish coast. The hotel is very modern in design and the rooms were verty nice. The staff were very accommodating and welsomed us with iced towels which even in early May was a nice touch. The pools were contemporary in design and not huge but this is not a' family all inclusive' style hotel, it is much more stylish than that. There is also a wondersful spa offering a variety of treatments.

As mentioned in another review, the beach, marina and especially the beachside restaurant are the WOW factors of this hotel. The restaurant is literally on the beach and the views are as amazing as the food - which was outstanding.

Although I didn't stay at this hotel, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to people looking for a relaxed, contemporary hotel in a lovely setting.

Room Tip: swim up rooms are lovely
