Arrived at hotel at 2pm to be greeted by the most lovely reception staff. They were very welcoming. Our room wasn’t quite ready so we were shown to the restaurant for a bite to eat and then within no time shown to our room.

Room-the room was lovely with a pool and sea view. The room had ample storage space, a lovely shower, toilet and sink which were all separate and not all together in one room-sounds weird but it was absolutely fine. An added bonus was an iron and ironing board! Also the mini bar was fully restocked every day and the maid made us quite a few towel art sculptures which was a nice touch. USB adapters would’ve been nice but unfortunately we didn’t have them. All in all tho a lovely room!

Pool areas-all the pools were lovely and not overcrowded with an ample amount of sun beds for everyone. We usually went to the pool at 0830/0900hrs and had no probs gtn a bed at the adult pool. The swim up bar was nice with the floating drinks tables! The staff round the pool were very attentive coming round with melon, chilled lemon drinks etc and also the pool staff would deliver ur drinks to ur table too along with crisps and nuts which was a nice touch. There is also an indoor pool that is beautiful and very quiet. The spa area is here as well which we had a tour of but didn’t book anything.

Meals/Restaurants-we mainly ate in the buffet restaurant. The freshly squeezed orange juice was fantastic...no added charge which I had seen some hotels doing. You could have anything from porridge, freshly cooked omelettes, smoked salmon, pastries-honestly anything you can think of was on offer.

For lunch we only twice went to the buffet as was too full up after breakfast! U can pick up snacks all day long from various eateries around the resort so def won’t go hungry!

For evening meals we managed to book into 3 a la cartes (did this the min we arrived). The Asian was by far the best. The service was superb and the food was of a very high standard. The Turkish was good but not our type of food. Everything again was well presented and service spot on. The last one we tried was the Italian and unfortunately this came in bottom for us due to poor service. The food was nice but we waited half an hr after finishing our main course and was never offered a sweet menu or any further drinks so despite the food being lovely the service unfortunately let this one down.

Beach-the beach was lovely and swimming in the sea was great. Def invest in a pair of swim shoes as the cobbles at the shore are a little tricky to gt over but once in it is lovely. We hired a cabana and loved every min in it! We felt like royalty with the way we were waited on! The cushions are soooo comfortable ! It is great that you can enjoy the full sunshine while on the loungers at the front or retreat back into the supersoft cushions for some shade! Again we booked this on arrival at the guest relations desk.

Trips-we took a taxi into fethiye for a look around one day which cost about 70 lira each way. We went back by taxi boat a couple of days later and visited the market. It is best to go early before the crowds. We bought a few fakes from the market but found the shops in fethiye to have better quality fakes! While on our taxi boat back to the hotel the welsh guy who works there told us about the 3hr 12island trip on the same boat. This trip was £35 per person and was a great few hrs out seeing the same that you would on the other 8hr trips. With just being there for a week the 3hr trip suited us perfect.

Another good thing about the hotel were the Thomson reps. We had a lovely young girl who had a free 10mins and gave us a guided tour of the hotel on our first day which def helped us settle in quickly.

We will definitely be back

Booked a 1 week stay after a recommendation and we weren't disappointed! We were lucky enough to have a room in Block D which had full see view and open aspect. The Hotel staff without exception were extremely helpful and polite and nothing appeared to be too much trouble. We booked our restaurants as soon as we arrived and enjoyed them all - favourite being the Asian....try the fried icecream - bizarre but amazing!! Paid extra for the Steak restaurant which was also excellent. Did the 3 hour boat trrip which was just long enough and had a day in Fethiye. Was sorry to leave after meeting lots of new friends and would certainly come back.

Room tip: Block D has full sea view

Arrived early hours of Sunday September 1st. The entire flight was pleasant, small delay at the airport but nothing too major! Arrived at Dalaman and instantly felt like we were on a luxury holiday as we got to skip the huge TUI pick up queue as we were going to a SENSATORI resort.

The journey was only 40 minutes, and when my boyfriend and I arrived we were met by lovely check in staff who provided us with sparkling wine, sandwiches and cold hand towels which were lovely. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and this was consistent throughout the trip. We had our bags delivered to our lovely room, with a fully stocked complimentary mini fridge, clean and tidy bedrooms and bathroom and a lovely view of the mountains. We frequently visited the buffet restaurant which always had something for everyone, they had themed nights (Chinese, Italian, Turkish etc.) which meant you didn’t get bored. The chefs were always hard at work replenishing the food and always smiley and greeted me and wished me a good dinner. We also bought 2 70 minute massages off Firat which were so relaxing and lovely! All the people working in the spa are brilliant. We visited two onsite restaurants during our stay, the Sunset Grill and the Amber Turkish restaurant, again, amazing food and lovely staff. We also frequented the patisserie, a cute little cafe that served delicious cakes, ice cream and milkshakes, which was a lovely touch to the resort.

Plenty of amazing activities to partake in during the day, which can be booked via the SENSATORI app, and so much even entertainment it’s hard to choose! We especially loved the beautiful piano bar where we could get a little dressed up, drink, and listen to great live music from the entertainment staff.

I’d like to give a lovely special mention to the Yasmine Bar staff (I hope I’ve spelt these right, if I haven’t, I apologise!!!) Erdefom Dede (or as we called him, Grandad!) Nevzat Yilmaz, Osman Soylu, and Aman. They looked after us to no end! Always greeted us when we arrived and couldn’t do enough for us. We always had a good laugh with them all, usually about them accusing my boyfriend of being 28 when he’s actually 22! It was fun to see someone else put him in his place!! And they always had lovely things to say and stories to tell. They would also frequently come round the sunloungers with watermelon and drinks, which was a lovely touch!

Overall, I don’t say this very often, but I would love to return to this resort, and a word of warning, do not come for 7 days!! It’s not enough!! Josh and I regretted only booking a week and wish we’d had 2 weeks, so we could have taken advantage of all the day trips you can get from the hotel! Absolutely incredible hotel, staff, and facilities, a proper luxury hotel without the uptight snooty feel! Luxurious and completely relaxing, we will be returning!!xx

We stayed at this hotel for a fortnight June to July 2019 and were so sad to leave that within a week of returning home we booked to return for another week in September, from which we have just returned. This hotel is absolutely excellent, by far our favourite ever and we will definitely be returning next year.
We stayed in family area swim up rooms. The rooms are great, good layout, spacious, very clean, lots of space for clothes in cupboards and drawers, well placed plug sockets and mirrors, and very comfy beds and pillows. The TV has excellent film and sports channels and the WiFi is hands down the best I’ve used at any hotel I have stayed at.
The swim up rooms are excellent and well worth the upgrade.
We ate in the buffet restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout. We have been to some of the a la cartes on a previous trip but they weren’t for us and we found that the same dishes were often better in the themed night in the buffet restaurant than they were in the a la cartes. The buffet food was excellent, always a great selection and changed from night to night. The pide is particularly good. It would be good to sometimes have plain pasta shells (instead of spaghetti every night) so you could choose whether to combine these with the sauces.
Overall, the buffet restaurant staff are excellent and really helped to make our holiday so wonderful. Basri Muscacali was incredible and clearly had such a great rapport with so many guests simply put he is outstanding and second to none. Ramazan Tanis was also excellent. Meliza remembered our drinks order from our last visit! and was also excellent. Ibrahim looked after us incredibly well in June and also has an excellent rapport with so many guests. We can’t thank these guys enough.
In June we had one issue with a waiter who worked out that we would want to order a second round of drinks with our dinner and decided to avoid our table at all costs, including not collecting any dirty plates so that he did not have to get another round of drinks. We raised this issue with the restaurant manager Gurkan Gun, who dealt with things extremely swiftly and changes were made to support the waiter in question and improve overall service. Gurkan and his colleague Ahmet Yilmaz, the service manager, have since been incredibly helpful in ensuring we had a wonderful holiday.
During our trip in September, it was one of our birthdays. The hotel as standard (and without any request) provide lovely birthday room decorations and a cake, which was an excellent surprise when we first visited in September 2017, and a really nice touch on the hotel’s part. The staff also went out of their way to celebrate the birthday, with Basri creating a special chocolate waffle for breakfast and another cake being brought by Gurkan, Ahmet and Ramazan during dinner, along with two rounds of Happy Birthday being sang across the day. Thanks to everyone for making it such a special day.
In the evenings we mainly spent time in the adult pool bar and the lime bar. The lime bar is especially good for a quiet drink. It was also nice during the Fringe event for music to be performed in the adult pool bar in the evening as this provided a nice atmosphere. Serhat Gonen and Ali were both excellent and kept us stocked up on drinks and crisps every night.
The only real issue we experienced during our stays were less than optimal responses to any issues with the room. When we arrived in June one of the TV remotes had no batteries and we had to ask at reception multiple times before a technician was sent to add new ones. This is just a small example but generally we experienced that for anything to be fixed you will have to ask multiple times. In September the air con control panels in our room displayed a fault and it was not running at its normal temperature so we informed reception and the technicians very quickly fixed the issue. However, the fault would reappear again between 7 and 24 hours later every time and at no point was a more long term fix. This resulted in us having to go to reception 5 times throughout the week for this one issue.
Overall, we love this hotel and would recommend it to anyone. The rooms, pools, food and staff are absolutely excellent, and although we are not beach people, the beach is very nice too. I’m not sure what more you could want. Thanks again to all the staff and we can’t wait to go back next year.
