We booked an excursion through our travel operator and were not disappointed with this day out, the boat was comfortable and seeing these tombs from the river was brilliant.

Take a long walk up to the tombs through fethiye, walk up the millions of steps (ok i exaggerate but it feels like it) and just see the view over fethiye. Until i went up there i did not realise just how large the town is. Nice restaurant at the bottom of the steps, you will need a drink.

It's only 6tlr to enter but most people only look from the road. It's worth paying to see the tombs close up, see inside, see the great views over Fethiye and see the tortoises.
It is only about 1km from the shops and ok to walk if you're reasonably fit. Having said that, there is parking so driving is also fine.
Not a major attraction but worth visiting if you're in Fethiye.

Booked a day boat excursion to visit the tombs, along with a visit to a mud bath & turtle beach. Tombs are impressive to see & worth the visit. Would recommend a boat trip to see the beautiful surroundings and tombs

Although not as big as the one in Kaunos (in Dalyan), these rock tombs are worth a visit, as they are equally impressive. Very beautiful and intricate carvings, and so easy to access. Highly recommended.

Had taken a trip here years ago but went again as very impressive and love the history, well worth a look for history buffs, boat lovers and Turtle watchers alike.

Ancient Lycian tombes, a must see!
On the hills of Fethiye there are ancient Lycian tombes carved in the mountain wall it is fantastic to see this so up close.

Great history to these tombs and although not accessible they are worth getting some photos of. Need to climb a short hill for the best view.
