Stay away! There are many, many other places to go in the area.

The people who run the Bozkurt Cafe on the beach have no respect for you and are there with the sole intent of ripping you off.

If you must go, take your own food but as the cafe spreads itself out over most of the area, it is hard to avoid. They will charge you astronomical prices and argue with you with such nerve it has to be believed.

Avoid at all costs.

We visited here on the quads we had hired and had a lovely day. Hired a speed boat and went round the islands which was great fun and used the restaurant on the beach but be careful as there is no price list and they wont give you prices even if you ask. They charged well over the odds for the food which wasn't very good to be honest so if you are going to go you are better to hire a sunbed there and take your own pack lunch........

Family of 4 visited Kayakoy- fine- and then drove on to see Gemiler Beach as we were so close. There is no doubt, it is a beautiful view-BUT at a price! 3TL each to park the car. A very pleasant lady approaches, offering her food/beverage services. After viewing the beach and a paddle we were thirsty & decided to have a coffee "and would you like turkish pancake?"- no menu in sight, but thought it would be reasonable. We made the same mistake as other contributors. 15TL for each pancake x 3- that's £15 and they were like eating thin cardboard. This is the right hand side cafe as you are facing the beach. Hindsight is indeed a wonderful thing & I should have googled before going, but it was a last minute decision, for which we have paid heavily. We only paid TL25 /30 each for a full evening meal one night. Please viewers, proceed with caution- it's just not worth that bitter after taste. We are going on the 12 island cruise shortly, and won't be making the same mistake again, if the boat stops in the bay.

During our sailing cruise along the Turkish coast, we made a stop close to Gemiler adessi, near Gemiler beach. We were offered the help of the Borzkurt restaurant for mooring on a buoy.
As a counterpart, we decided to have dinner in this restaurant. There were no other customers. No menu, no prices before ordering. But we were trustful. What a mistake ! In the end, we were charged 650 TL (almost 260 € !) for 7 people, one beer and a plate for each of us.

Have lunch in any place but this one !

Otherwise, the place is quite nice but dirty, espacially the sea.

When we arrived at the beach, one of the women from Bozkurt Beach restaurant sold their setting to us, giving us the impression that the sun loungers would be free providing we used their restaurant. We chose to have lunch there and one round of drinks - there was a board giving the prices for drinks on arrival showing that a bottle of Efes beer was 7TL. There was no food menu though and we were not duped into paying 30TL for a portion of calamari as they told us would be the cost - extortionate in anyone's book anywhere in the world! The food (9 pancakes with assorted fillings and 5 portions of chips) was edible, but they tried to charge us at least 70TL more than we should have paid - including a charge for the sun loungers and 10TL for the beers. The drinks prices had been rubbed off the board when we began to contest them. Thankfully, with the assertion of a member of the party, a comprimise was reached, but this experience spoilt the day. A couple eating there at the same time as us encountered exactly the same thing.

We paid 3TL to get on the beach; this fee presumably going some way towards the upkeep of the beach itself. I came across a syringe that was most probably used to give medication, but alarming all the same.

To summarise, the setting is serene, but don't bother. There are fantastic panoramic views from the road leading to and from the beach to be seen.
