The only problem with this restaurant was we didn't eat there until our last day lovely food and overlooking the sea and a brilliant sunset. Mustafa is a lovely man, took time to explain dishes to us and was very attentive. Everything was spotless the starter we had, mezes was gorgeous. My OH had fish which was the best he had in Turkey. Lots of different little touches such as orange with chilli flakes, even the glasses of water came with ice, a slice of lemon and mint. Cannot fault this place, absolutely my favourite.

We visited Aroma 3 times last year on our first visit to Calis Beach, and I never did get around to writing a review, so having returned to Calis this year I thought i'd put that right. There are a number of restaurants on the front at Calis offering a similar range of Turkish and international dishes, but what makes Aroma stand out is Mustafa who runs the restaurant - although we've always found the food excellent. We went 3 times last year not only because the food was delicious but because Mustafa made us feel so welcome, he took time out to chat with us about our holiday and was genuinely interested.

On our return this summer, She Who Must Be Obeyed wondered if he would remember us - I thought that he would, and I was right - not only did he recognize usimmediately and give us the warmest of welcomes, he even remembered what we'd had to eat on our last visit (SWMBO was not sure whether he'd got it right, but he'd definitely remembered mine correctly). We didn't so much feel like valued customers as old friends. Talking to other (English) customers there it became clear that we weren't the only repeat visitors, others have told us that they always like to return to Aroma because the food is reliably good and Mustafa is such a good host.

We've never had a bad meal in Calis in two holidays, but we've had a few just okay ones. And we've always felt welcome wherever we've gone, it's a friendly resort. But all the food we've eaten at Aroma has been excellent, and the service and hosting from Mustafa is second to none. Highly recommended.

Visited Aroma several times during our 2 week stay for lunch, dinner and even just drinks. Mustafa is one of the kindest people you will meet and he has an excellent team who are so welcoming and friendly and will do all they can to ensure you enjoy your visit. A great menu of Turkish and International cuisine and we never had a bad meal; my favourite had to be the meatballs though. A small meze and garlic bread provided free at the start of your meal. Aroma is only a small restaurant on Calis seafront promenade and you really must give it a go. Can't wait to see you all again in September!!

I visited Aroma a few times on my recent holiday and each time the food was great. Mustafa is a welcoming friendly host. He will explain the dishes on the menu if needed.
The food was full of flavour, and there were some interesting and unusual dishes on the menu, and some lovely sides, not just rice, chips and salad.
