We called in The Mulberry Tree one lunchtime for a bite to eat. The menu is a mix of Turkish and English as stated. The order was taken from a table that had arrived after us but was obviously a regular. We ordered a liver shish kebab and a cheese pide plus drinks. Our drinks arrived in good time but we waited along time for our food. I know that they were made to order but it was a long wait. During our wait it was noted that this seems to be a popular eating establishment for the expat community as not only were there a number in eating but also a number of them called to use the toilet facilities. It was also noted that the daily lunchtime special of cheesy bubble and squeak with salad and chips sold out very quickly.
Our food arrived and it was OK. Nothing too memorable. Another couple had waited quite a long time for their food which was only a sandwich and they had to ask for two slices of cake that they had ordered as they had been waiting a long time.
The staff were quite sullen and were more interested in speaking with the expats than with anybody else.

Not a place for the tourists and it is at the junction of two busy roads so quite a lot of exhaust fumes and noise.

The place to eat if you want some of the best British or Turkish food in Fethye.
Service is fast efficient with a large selection for all tastes.
Friendly staff that are helpful and quick to please.
Not the cheapest place in Fethye, but you won't be disappointed with the portions.
Would recommend to anyone who is fed up of being served cold food on cold plates.

Some people may long for a taste of home, but when we visit a country we are surprised to be told that the "Turkish cooks could only cook Turkish food and had to be taught how to cook properly the English way"! Very average (to poor) food in a not great location, be rightly suspicious of any restaurant that claims good English food and sells Turkish. Worth a miss, wish we had found the number one restaurant which was not far away and on the way back to boat. The only saving grace was it was not expensive and did not actively cause distress!

. I like the food - A good choice which covers all sorts from burgers, wraps (yum), Lahmacun (fab), afternoon tea and full meals. They also have a cabinet where you can buy home made pickles, jams, mincemeat (sweet), cakes etc. The staff are always polite and friendly, it does not matter what season or how busy, the staff remain polite and friendly. One of my favourite Autumn / Winter / Spring places to have lunch or afternoon tea.

Visited Fethiye and whilst walking round thought we'd stop off for a drink in the restaurant, when we saw what other diners were having we decided to stay! I had a starter for my main and he had a main for a main (I wanted dessert). The service was excellent, value for money fab, and their puffa bread absolutely fabulous, I would thoroughly reccomend you try this place as superb. It is on a bit of a side street and you get to people watch a lot especially the locals!
