We chose to eat at L Casa De Mamma rather than Bella Mamma's, which is just down the promenade, because it looked warmer and more welcoming - we were not disappointed. First of all we were seated inside near the kitchen, which was so hot it was almost unbearable. The waiters, seeing our discomfort, got us a fan but failed to turn it on. We almost left the restaurant but a vigilant waiter spotted a party vacating in the open-air part of the restaurant and moved us immediately. From there our experience went rapidly uphill. The La Casa garlic pizza bread with garlic and basil was to die for. We order two between three of us and despite it being a lot bigger than we were expecting, we demolished it! We all ordered pasta dishes for our main course and enjoyed it so much, we returned again during the second week of our holiday. The staff are extremely busy and may come across as aloof but if you chat with them, they are very friendly and sociable, just so busy and efficient with it. They also serve Mexican food but I reckon they could get by with just the Italian menu to be honest - delicious. I'd definitely recommend it if you fancy a break from the Turkish restaurants.
