It's very difficult to sort through all the restaurants targeted towards tourists in Calis beach; most of them are over-priced and poor quality, however, Barbella is one of the few exceptions.
We opted for the three course set menu which was really very good compared with the other meals we had during our stay in Calis beach.
For my main I had the trout with a cream and almond sauce. The fish was nicely cooked and maintained it's delicate texture without becoming dry and powdery. The sauce wasn't too heavy and had delicate flavours which did not over-power the flavour of the fish. The sides were of excellent quality also. It was an ample portion and delicious as well as nutritious.
For dessert we had the apple pie which was just lovely, not too sweet and beautifully moist with fresh apples. The entrees (crepe and borek) were not too special, but they weren't bad.
The service was attentive and friendly and I felt comfortable dining here. I would not hesitate to return.
