“Beautiful location, delightful accommodation”
Reviewed June 12, 2013

have been visiting Kaya Vadi in Kaya Koy for around 15 years. accommodation is very comfortable and spacious, fully equipped for self catering, and located in a beautiful rural valley, away from busy towns, but close to the busy resorts of Olu Deniz and Hisaronu by bus. Fethiye, a much larger local commercial town is around 20 mins by car, with an interesting bazaar.

Kaya Vadi has 3 two bedroom villas and a larger 3/4 bedroom villa, all on one site with private outdoor pool. on site staff are particularly helpful and will obtain hire cars and transport if required. trips can also be arranged through them. the deserted, now ruined, Greek village of Kaya Koy is a must to visit.

Our first stay at Kaya Vadi and I have to say it is perfect for a quiet and relaxing time. It is great to be able to walk along the lanes past farms and fields, very little traffic. A hire car is an asset but not essential as the dolmush passes the gate several times through the day in high season. The Villa was well equipped and clean. Local restraunts do a pick up service if required, and it is a 25 minute walk into the village for bread and other provisions. Fethiye is about 30mins by car .
The site manager Gem is very helpful.

We have just returned from a saty at one of the Kaya Vadi villas and were very disapointed. The villas are in need of up grading which is a shame as the area is beautiful and peacefull. It would be out advice to look around prior to booking one of these villas The on site manager is very helpful and will do what he can to make your stay enjoyable.

We have been to Kaya Koy and stayed in these villas two years in a row and each time has been fantastic. The villas are very clean, fully equipped, spacious and in a beautiful surrounding. The villas are surrounded by well kept gardens that blossom. The pool is brilliant and is a filtered pool which we prefer. The area that the villas are in is the old part of Turkey which is what we were looking for so very mountainous and beautiful. There are plenty of restaurants and the food is traditional Turkish food and very moreish.
