This is situated in the main area of The Paspateur, the old shopping streets of Fethiye. One Turkish friend had Adana kebab that he said was very nice; the other friend had the seafood risotto but the seafood, especially the prawns were way overlooked and hard, so she left them. Her mother was Italian, so she wasn't very pleased. I had seafood stuffed calamari but it was stuffed with only the legs of the calamari and no other seafood. Strange. That, too, was overcooked and rubbery. They used to have an Italian restaurant next to the Megri, so we were very disappointed with our meal. However, it has a lovely atmosphere and is perfect for tourists, of which they get many, especially the boat trip people. I have been going there for 12 years, so do go and enjoy the wonderful menu but stick to traditional food; it seems we had an unusual experience for such a nice place.

Very good choice of excellent Turkish food. The clue is in the number of Turkish people who eat there! Not to be missed if you're in Fethiye.

We went with our friends and four children ranging from 15 to 10 in age. Everyone loved it. There is so much to see and watch for adults and children as well as things to think about buying nearby such as carpets, cushion covers, spices, Turkish delight etc. There is a small football screen which guys can see at a push and added to the great atmosphere as Fethiye football won the final and got promoted to the 1st division on the night we were there so the atmosphere was electric! Mixed starters (meze) were excellent and we will have again. Children all had pasta and liked it and adults shared 1x chicken given and 1 x lamb given, very traditionally cooked signature dishes which were really fabulous. Service was good and we got a very nicely presented plates of fresh fruit on the house at the end. We will be back in August!

I've been eating here for 10 years & have never had a bad meal. Situated at the end of the Bazaar, between Pasa Kebab & Duck Pond, this is a great restaurant.
I prefer to eat here at lunchtime, as they have a large selection of freshly made Turkish dishes in a warming display, so obviously by late evening, the stuff has been there awhile. I go for freshly grilled eats on an evening.
Lots of Turkish people eat here, so that must mean it's good & why so few reviews. Their is also another restaurant with same name?

Having being to Megris 3 times in the past I was recommended to come along to their sister establishment (also located in the bazzar) as I was told that it is well used by locals and excels in hearty local food at cheap prices.
They weren't wrong; their were more locals dining here than tourists on the 2 occassions that we ate here and the food was nothing short of spectacular. Huge portions of the most delicious food and extremelyreasonable prices.
I opted for the fish casserole on both visits which must rank as one of the tastiest meals I've had in years.
But here's the twist; on visit number one it was made with lots of lovely chunks of fresh seabass and on trip two they made it with swordfish.
Their mixed grilled vegetables, in turkish, spices, that we ordered to share was a main course in itself and equally delicious.
The staff are all charming, although their English isn't the best, but with menus written in English who cares?
We'll be back many more times in the future, you can be sure of that.
