stayed in the cenk bey hotel in august 2009 , paying jus £400 for 2 weeks half board, the hotels loacation is great just a 5 minute walk from the beach , the rooms are very basic and small & in need of a major update ...with no tv & furniture from the 70`s and air con which costs an extra £3 per day , although the rooms very kept very tidy by the maid

This is certainly a no frills hotel , although good value for the money paid the area which really lets this hotel down is the food, poor poor poor!!! on numerous occasions my girlfriend and I found our selves going hungry or going to a nearby restaurant as we could not bare to eat the depressing uninventive slop served up by the chef and his gormless cronies, the fact that the chalk board outside the hotel offers non hotel guests to feast at the chefs delights for a mere £3.99 for " an open buffet of 20 cold starters and 2 luke warm mains " kinda hints at the quality that was served up , numerous unidentifiable meats ( horse , cat , camel?) and "potatoes" which was actually puree which looked like it came from a tap were my personal highlights and the fact that 90% of main meal was a cold "starter", you will certainly loose weight if you stay here, also no drinks are with the "main meal" and all hotel drinks are completely overpriced a large bottle of water was 3ytl compared to 1ytl at the neighbouring news agents

in conclusion the location is good , the rooms are basic but clean , the pool is good for a small hotel and the food is shocking, hope this review helps , apologies for the poor spelling wrote in a rush x

This small hotel just off the main beach at calis was our family home for a week and was great ...I was our first trip to Turkey and we got very lucky ,the hotel is only 25-30 min away from the airport ,we went with another family of 4 ..we had adjoining rooms to our kids and although the rooms are basic they were very comfortable and the air conditioning worked well ...the rooms were kept very clean by the housekeepers ,fresh towels every day and clean sheets every other day ....the service was fantastic the staff could not do enough for you ...the food was good and there was always plenty of it...the pool was kept very clean and tidy most of the time we had the pool to ourselves , they have a food menu for snacks by the pool during the day the kids enjoyed the fresh pizza and pancakes ..on our last day we were allowed to use our rooms until 2PM so we could shower after swimming all morning this just completed our stay ... if you do visit I don't think you will be disappointed but please don't tell to many people as we want to be able to go back ..the hotel is 3* so don't expect 5* for the price it was great value for money...one word of caution wet marble is slippery as I found out ,so watch your step around the pool and on the stairs !! Do ask about hiring a boat for the day we used a boat called BURAK 2 that is run by freinds of the hotel owner , the food on the boat and the whole experiance was so good we booked it for another day well worth the money
Thats it ...Enjoy
