Here we found typical local food with moderate prices in historcal atmosphere. The staff was friendly, the location clean.

Service was fine and restaurant itself was very nice. However the food was a real disappointment. All the courses were very oily (you could visibly see the oil pooled at the top of each dish) and hence was not appertising. Maybe its not just a style of cooking that I am accustomed. However I didn't see anything like it in the rest of Turkey. Sorry !!

One of our best meals in Turkey (and great value too!) Beautiful view out to the mosque and Mevlana museum. Staff couldn't speak a work of English and menu was all in Turkish but its all part of the fun....can;t for the life of me remember the name of the dessert we had but was probably the best in our time in Turkey...

We went here due to its close location to our hotel - and the TA reviews. The place was mostly full of tourists, no doubt following the same reviews.

The menu was quite short and simple. The waiter was very helpful in explaining each dish. He was very keen for us to select the restaurants specialities. In the end it seemed like we compromised on slow cooked lamb and a lamb kebab, with side salad. The kebab was delicious - beautiful yoghurt sauce. The slow cooked lamb was a very tender piece of lamb, but had no sauce or spices. The usual Turkish coffee and Nescafe completed a satisfying, but unspectacular meal

The location is excellent. On a warm day/night you can sit on the terrace and look over the magnificent local mosque and Mevlana museum. Service is prompt and efficient.

Overall, a good place to have a simple, and moderately priced, Turkish dinner.

Food & service excellent but the restaurant doesn't serve alcohol. The maître d was very experienced and helpful in advising us. It was a very popular restaurant and about 20 steps from the Hich Hotel
