The pro’s – close to everything, the roof top terrace is great and the food was really good. The con’s – the hotel is really sad, old and tired, this hotel needs some serious revamping. You can do better.

Here we have a situational wonder. The hotel has small rooms, lacking 70's material culture but!! it is located where no other hotel is- i.e. Mevlana Karsisi 2
Reception, groom, ownership (if a gentleman in attendance was one of the entrepreneurs were first class. Breakfast on an overlit (naturally terrace) was good staple quality. The olive (the fruit) though not extraordinary in quality, fruitiness, subtlety reigns supreme as a staple breakfast commodity.
Especially if you are looking for a discreet location right in the Mevlana land and the
Üçler Mezarlığı Cemetery. There are much better 'resorty', commercial complexes (Hilton - Dedeman and others) but this hotel is unique in its setting and pleasantly melancholic.

Room tip: front rooms overlooking mosque and Mevlana-land

The location of the hotel is exactly where you want if you visiting Konya as it is within walking distance of Mevlana masjid and museum. Plenty of shopping and food outlets in the vicinity. Check inn went really smooth, rooms are average but beds are bad. Need to be changed!! Breakfast is a good spread. Staff are very helpful and kind. If a revamp can be done sooner then later it will be an amazing hotel to choose.

I arranged my trip to Konya through a travel agency in Istanbul, and I was pleased with the election. Location is extremely convenient because of the view from the terrace where breakfast is served. The hotel is also at a walking distance from Sultan Aladin hill, St. Paul's church, the local bazaar in which every aisle is devoted to a different product, and from the Cultural Center where whirling dervishes perform the Semá ritual every Saturday. Breakfast is excellent: a wide range of fresh fruit of the region, yogurt soup, Turkish cheeses and evidently tea.
One thing more to consider is the amazing concert at around 5 a.m. from all the muezzins of the surrounding mosques, which adds a spiritual dimension to the visit to Konya.
The hotel is comfortable although the decoration is not wonderful; I found the maps in the walls of the stairs quite interesting, maybe dating from Ottoman period.
My room was for a single person, so space was more than enough, although the shower was extremely small. The good thing is that they allowed me an early check-in and I was able to rest after a 6 a.m. morning flight from Istanbul.

Positives:
Breakfast was nice.
Room was decent enough.
Room was clean.
Room has some kind of sound isolation.
It is next to Mevlana square if you want to go sightseeing.
Restaurant is at the 4th floor so you can enjoy some Konya view while eating.

Negatives:
Room has some kind of sound isolation but windows don't so there can be noise from outside in the room. Especially when mosques starts prayers you hear so much noise in the room.
Shower cabin door was not working properly and it was broken.
