Tandır (meat) is perfect but I did not like the "Bamya Soup". The desserts were also very traditional and tasty.

This restaurant was highly recommended by our guidebook. It is not a restaurant geared to westerners who do not speak Turk. The dining room is interesting, but the food which was difficult to select was absolutely overcooked. We did not feel well until noon the following day.

We were the last clients, the dishes were just served and they started cleaning the floor around us with an awful smelly chemical detergent! As it was definitely spoiling our meal I told them and they stopped. But about 10 mn later they started cleaning the long bay window with again a very smelly product... Well I can understand that people want to go home asap but in that case they should not have let us in.
If you do not like lamb, they only have one chicken option.
Food was good at a good value but they totally spoiled our meal.

I went there with my wife. The Bamya Soup was OK, however, Arabası soup was not as expected. The pide was average as well. The desert named irmikli dondurma was not good.

The title says it all. The cuisine is said to be traditional for the locale and is superbly prepared and presented. Portions are ample. The atmosphere is informal and staff are unobtrusively efficient and fun to dialogue with. The prices are much less than at another local restaurant a block away which is highly recommended by Trip Advisor contributors (but not so much by us). Everything is ultra clean and, as usual, the spotless kitchen is open to view.
