Really one of the high points of the trip. Hire a car. Walking through this gently lit cave was like being in church. There are no areas of squeezing through small spaces, all open and large. Kids will love it and grown ups, too.

“Nice cave with good light setting”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 30, 2013

Some hundred steps to walk up in order to enter the cave.
The cave was good - a slightly better sight than the cave just outside Alanya.
Tea and souvenirs to be bought halway up the staircase.

“To people who wonder the history of humanity...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 10, 2013

It is incredibly perfect if you know how to look at... Very old and historic. I wasnt able to see all the places because they werent open for public but the places i have seen there were enough for thousands of dollars i spent for transportation and hotel...
If you are interested about History, you need to see here...
Thanks

“Must See”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 31, 2012

Probably this is the only cave that I have reached so deep because the path that has been layed for non-professionals. This is one more thing from nature that will amaze you. Especially enjoyable by the kids as there is no other activity for them around Safranbolu.

“Very safe. Cool! Our kids loved it!”

Great caves. Very safe. Equal to others I've seen in other countries. Lots of stairs to get up to it.
