the restaurant was supposed to be closed, so there was no staff, but the owner graciously served us anyway. the food was excellent, with quite a few delicious-sounding dishes to pick from. after a week in turkey, we wanted something different than the usual yet tasty pide, kofte and kebaps we had been eating and that werent that "exotic" for us since we can also find them back home (egypt). if thats what youre looking for -something different - tasev is definitely an option to keep in mind. there was music, but it wasnt loud and was quite pleasant - greek & turkish music, fit for the location. from the terrace, you get a nice view on the old town - it isnt "scenic", but a view is always welcome.
