“Go and get lost”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2014

We never did find the synagogue but enjoyed wandering through narrow alleys with excellent market produce. Catch the hop on hop off which stops outside the entries

“havra sokagi”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 17, 2014

If you are going to buy fresh fish , this is the street to go to in Kemeralti . It is very crowded so be extra careful with your wallets please ! This is not for Havra sokagi only . When you go to Kemeralti, it is crowded.

“Its worth while”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 11, 2013 via mobile

It was surely worth while going, I was lucky enough to be able to go into a couple of the synagogues and the most beautiful part is knowing the history of the synagogues and finding out how the Jews from Spain came to thurkey

“memories of old Izmir”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 26, 2013

hearing a few words in ladino or greek reminds of old izmir in wood and flowers, not concrete and traffic, and this street bears many traces of the past, engulfed inevitably in modern times. A place to muse and reminisce.
