The decor is outdated, there appeared to be mold in the corner of the bathtub, and the rooms aren't soundproof or as large as they appear from the photos on the hotel website - But this is a good choice for a hotel given it's ideal location by the bustling seafront.

We were happy that we chose this hotel over the similarly-priced My Hotel or Key Hotel, as those hotels are located on the street behind the seafront, rather than being located directly on it.

The hotel offers conveniences such as a daily breakfast (very wide spread with many food options) and a taxi hut right outside the front door.

Room Tip: It's worth requesting a room with a seaview - From the balcony you can watch the goings-on of th...

We stayed here fir 5 nights and had upgraded ourselves from seaview room to one with seaview and balcony, partly because we were travel weary and because it was so hot.
The room was very comfortable nd balcony brilliant,to sit out and look at sea and watch people in the lovely green space below.
We were able to leave the doors open and turn off the aircon which blasted onto the bed.
Bed extremely comfortable and table and chairs to sit at if not outside on balcony.

Hotel in a great position.

Downside was the shower over a very high sided bath, good if agile, not so easy otherwise.
And the aircon, which we discovered could only be regulated by contacting reception and turned off, probably understandably,if balcony door opened. And badly directed over the sleeping area.
Breakfast not of an international standard and hot food pudgy and had sat for too long.
Staff helpful.Perhaps we should have more Turkish and they more English. We think more if a hotel for travelling Turkish.

Very well located at the seaside with full seaview ( make sure ). Although rooms have been refurbished and provide good space, they face a lack of stylish character. Good beds. Breakfast could be more international. Restaurant well above average. Good alternative for highly priced Swiss / Mövenpick / Hilton w/o seaview.

I have stayed here a few times. It is in a stunning location right on the front, where many of the restaurants and entertainments are.

The hotel seems to be caught in a time warp. I imagine it is not much changed from the seventies. The decor and fittings are showing their age and the whole place has an air of being a bit cramped.

Having said that, I slept well. The wifi worked and the breakfast was not bad. The staff were friendly and helpful and I think they help to make up for other shortcomings. I will stay again.

This is an older property that has been maintained well and upgraded. It is right on the waterfront promenade and in the center of the tourist and entertainment area, with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. There is a taxi stand at the door. The decor is kind of fancy old-fashioned and most of the clientele when I was there seemed to be wealthy Turks. Room was clean and spacious, with a balcony overlooking the bay. Amenities and towels are good. There is a safe, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, and fridge in the room. I could not figure out how to change the temperature setting on the air conditioner but I prefer to open the windows anyway and a/c was not really necessary at night. There is a business center with two computers and color printer. Wireless internet service was fast and reliable and free. I do not believe the hotel has a fitness facility. Breakfast is OK. Not quite the wide selection I have seen elsewhere but adequate. The waterfront restaurant below my balcony was busy into the wee hours. If you want to open the patio door for fresh air while sleeping it might be advisable to get a room on a higher floor or on the street side. All in all a very nice hotel at a reasonable price (around 100 USD/night, booked through a Turkish travel agent by a business associate). The desk staff spoke good English and were very helpful. All in all a very satisfactory experience at a reasonable price.

Room Tip: Try to get a higher floor or a street side room to avoid noise from the restaurants below on the pro...

Great location near waterfront and nice Izmir Bay, so you can easily visit lot of nearby restaurants, cafes etc. The hotel is in a bit older style, but clean and very comfortable. The quality of service is average according to the higher prices. The breakfast was good, typical turkish, the hotel offres free wifi (sometimes with drop-outs in some floors due to the chaos in routers). I recommend this hotel for its great position and beautiful views.
