Stayed here with my friend for one night. Absolutely brilliant. The entire hotel, public places as well as the room are beautifully designed. The service is great, staff very friendly. Breakfast is very good and the ambiance is amazing. Next time I will be in Izmir I will definitely come back to this hotel.

Room Tip: Just make sure you book a room at the back of the hotel, the main road can be very noisy

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in June'14. We had booked 2 rooms at the Met Hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. While the hotel itself was very clean and comfortable and we had no issues with basics such as hotel transfer etc, I must make a special mention for the ever helpful staff who were extremely hospitable.
Immediately after reaching Izmir, we had a slight issue in Izmir as our forex card got stuck in the ATM machine at the bank next to the hotel. The bank staff spoke no English and the hotel staff went out of their way to help us communicate with the bank staff and finally the forex card was returned to us.

Location of the hotel was decent, about 15 mins walk to the water front at Kordon. However, the hotel's location is utmost convenient for those wanting to take buses to Ephesus / Pammukale from Basmane Square.

The breakfast spread at the hotel was among the best we experienced in Turkey. The shower was great and the hotel itself is quite modern and done up in an interesting contemporary style. Rooms were a little small but I guess one doesn't have much choice on that. Also, my only recommendation to the management would be to install a safe vault which can be fixed inside the cupboard. Currently the vault is not fixed and can be taken out.
I would like to thank the staff at Met Boutique Hotel for ensuring that our stay was great. We hope to visit again and probably carry DVDs of bollywood movies for the fans :)

The hotel has a consistent high standard in every area, so you probably wont be dissapointed staying here. Beware of street noise from the front facing rooms

We didn't like the location of the hotel that much. There are few restaurants nearby and this part of town is not the nicest. On the other hand, you are close to a very large park. There is about a 10 min walk to the ocean where there is many restaurants.

Room Tip: Rooms on the back is quiet

The location of the hotel is perfect for a Sightseeing trip. The Breakfast comprises a variety of turkish specialities. The service and the entire staff are very kind and friendly. They help at any time and are really great.
The hotel rooms are very clean and modern. I really can recommend this hotel.

Hotel is located in the area with no good restaurants, but it has supermarket close by.
Hotel stuff doesn't know much English and cannot recommend where to go and what to do like they didn't tell us that we can go to the Bornova village Mall that has very high quality shopping and restaurants because we really couldn't eat at the restaurants close by.

Room service was okay, we ordered soup and kebab and it was pretty fast. They gave us some complimentary fruits that was good also. Room was nice and clean, loved the design and amenities. AC, Water was working good and the hotel was pretty quite and comfortable to live in.

We rented car and they would bring it to garage and prepare it for us every day that was nice.
Breakfast was delicious and a lot of variety.

Couldn't use laundry it was closed on Sunday and they weren't willing to do anything with that. Just told us its closed, so I had to think of how to hand wash my jeans in the room.

Room Tip: Rent a car!

We stayed 3 night with our infant and the room was great. The staff amazingly helpful and friendly. Having a car was no issue and they always parked it for us. The room was of high quality and bed and bathroom great. Location was good fun us and we walked down to the water each night for dinner. Would definitely stay again and recommended to others. Breakfast also was great compared to other hotels we had stayed during our trip

Stayed one night on 5th floor, facing the street and it was a bit noisy due to the street traffic and construction.

The valet service for your car was a nice touch, no charge. The hotel services were great and the space quite well decorated.

The bed was comfortable, the room a bit small, but functional and quite modern, in terms of improvements, the air con system was not properly designed with the intake duct and the vent being located less than one feet apart basically minimizing the air circulation in the room.

The bathroom was small and there was no counter space as the entire counter is a sink, very cool but not very practical for your toothbrush,,,

The shower requires additional lighting.

Room Tip: Choose a room away from the Main Street if you can.
