My wife and I stayed at this hotel while we were traveling around Turkey. Our first room: We walked into our first room which was already occupied by a family. We were very embarrassed - the family too. We told reception about the issue and they gave us another room (of course). Our second room: This time, before entering the room, we knocked on the door and waited for an answer before we tried the key. Our new room was like an oven with no air circulation because the A/C was not working properly. We spoke to reception about this issue however it was not resolved. Our sleep was restless and uncomfortable. We slept in a pool of sweat - - - as you can imagine it was not a pleasant experience from the beginning.

I'm sure if our room was more comfortable our stay would have been better because we would have slept. We spoke to other people who were staying at the hotel during breakfast and they said their rooms were uncomfortably warm too.

Hopefully, the A/C issue will be resolved soon.

I booked this hotel on the advice of a friend, and had no expectations whatsoever. What I found was an overcast, grey city, with few choices. This hotel is know to be one of the better hotels for business travelers, and I think I can say it fit the bill. Comfortable bed, Room service until late, wifi in rooms, and a very good buffet breakfast. There isn't much within walking distance, and the views are of the drab low-rise buildings around- nothing special.

What was special was the ever-attentive staff- everyone was so thoughtful- especially the one guy, Murat, who speaks very good English and went above and beyond to arrange a car and driver, and even explained to the driver where he should take me for a quick and clean Kebab.

If I ever come back, it won't necessarily be the "room" that draws me, but the memory of the many kindesses that were shown to be on a short stay.
