We only stayed one night in this hotel and were very impressed by the fact that they came to pick us up at the bus station and also drove us there in the morning when it was time to leave. Breakfast was tasty, the room was large, clean and very comfortable. We did not use the pool during our stay but it seemed very clean. Good hotel and great value for money.

We stayed here while one of our party was sick. Hassan went out of his way to have special meals prepared so she would get better. The atmosphere here is very chilled out and has a small resort feel to it. Hassan gave free rides to various places we needed to go. The food was home cooked and excellent, every time. I wish we could have stayed longer here; this place is a gem.

Like others have mentioned, Hassan was very accommodating: He arranged our pick up from Denizli and gave us free lifts to the travertines and the bus station when we left. We spent two nights at the Hotel Dort Mevsim and went to the travertines the afternoon when we arrived and did the day trip to Aphrodisias the following day. (The staff arranged for a small bus to pick us up at 9:30am and we returned at 3:30pm--30 TRY/person for transportation and 10 TRY/person for entrance--we definitely thought it was worth the hour and a half drive to Aphrodisias and back!) Just FYI if you stay at the Hotel Dort Mevsim--during our stay, we didn't have hot water and the wifi was on the slow-side. We ate dinner at the hotel one night and my veggie casserole (7 TRY) was delicious and the guys liked their chicken dishes (15 TRY). The staff will tell you that it's cheaper to eat with them than in town (approximately a 10-minute walk from the hotel), but that is only partially accurate: Some things may be cheaper, but you can always find some cheaper food in town if you look. However, out of convenience, sitting by the pool and having a meal was a good deal for us.

We were immediately impressed by the warm welcome and the friendly atmosphere of the hotel staff. It is family-run and this is reflected in their attention to detail and the comfort of their guests. Hassan, the owner, was great at organising everything we needed from local trips to the airport shuttle service. He always wants to make sure that his guests have the best experience of Pamukkale and Turkey. The food in the hotel restaurant was all homemade and absolutely delicious! It was definitely one of our best experiences in Turkey!

Actually met the owner on the shuttle bus from Denizli (as his car was being fixed). his son or nephew (not sure) carried my suitcase to the hotel. Very friendly family run hotel and lovely atmosphere. he actually insisted when to when his car was finished being fixed to drive me up to the top entrance of pamukkale! Very good hospitality but I was happy to tour myself.

Got a budget room for 40 tl ( so basic compared to the photos(but still fine)- he said those rooms cost more) it had no air con. he said rooms have air-con, so I was under the impression that meant all rooms! if I had been told this I would have paid extra for it. It was very hot being the height of summer, and I found it hard to sleep and when I did I had to be up early to get a train! It wouldnt have been so bad if you are staying in a cooler season.

-Had dinner thought it was very good.
-didnt use the pool but it looked good.
-Great outside area, very social at night

Overall i thought it was very good value for people looking to stay on the cheap, in a very freindly and social place.

Room Tip: If staying in summer make sure you get air con!

Value for money is excellent at this small, family run guesthouse. The owner Hassan met us promptly when the Suha shuttle dropped us in the centre of the village. He brought us to the hotel and our room was ready in half an hour (at 10 am in the morning - great) - We had a coffee in the meantime. He went out of his way to ensure a good, budget friendly stay and dropped us at the Southern Gate of the Hierapolis/Travertines site on our first morning. He took us and some other guests for a decent drive up to see the sunset over the mountains. The pool is excellent, if very cold and fresh!, and it is lovely to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner next to it. Breakfast was a good Turkish offering - fresh fruit, bread, spreads, egg and/or spring roll, coffee, tea, juice. Food prices are comparable with down in the village and you have the luxury of sitting by the pool with a glass of local wine, then trundling off to bed after a hard day's sightseeing. It's maybe 10 minutes gentle stroll from the village to the hotel. One of the most important things about this 10 minutes distance from town is the local Mosque is just barely audible in the distance - and only if you know what to listen for. Having stayed in various places around Turkey with mosques right outside the door, this is hugely important to the peace, quiet and tranquillity of the venue. If you stay right in the village it will be Allah O'clock 5 times a day including 4.45 am ish.

Room Tip: We were on 2nd floor with A/C - very little noise from pool or outdoors.

This was my second visit to stay at Dort Mevsim with my toddler son. The family are such amazing hosts, very friendly, kind and good fun. They all made us all so welcome. Good food, including a nice Turkish breakfast with fruits and cheeses, plenty of tea and coffee, a lovely atmosphere, small but clean rooms with ensuite showers and air con, and a great location to base yourself to see all the sights. The hotel is very quiet and peaceful as it is not on the main road, but is still a short walk from everything in town. Lifts can be arranged up to the travertines and historical ruins and all around. My son absolutely loved the hotel's little pool, which is filled with cold water that flows down from the mineral springs, which (along with a nice cold beer!) was very welcome on a hot August day. We will definitely be going back!
