“A pleasant surprise”
Reviewed November 1, 2012

It is much better inside than it looks from the outside. We had a deluxe double room which was clean, attractive, moderately priced and had all the amenities we wanted including A/C and tea and coffee making facilities in the room, which is unusual in Turkey. The service was prompt and helpful and the hotel had a peaceful atmosphere. Being October, it was somewhat quiet, but well located with a lovely view of the terraces without being in the busiest part of town. The staff helped us with our considerable baggage as there wasnt a lift. There is a nice restaurant for dinner by the pool and Turkish breakfast plus some interesting bread and spreads is served. The staff are only too happy to show you around and assist with food choices. Some English is spoken. We would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Ask for a deluxe room

We chose a room at the front of the hotel, which had stunning views of Pamukkale. The room was small and dated, but clean. The breakfast was an extremely basic continenental with little choice. As animal lovers we were not impressed when the owner sprayed a family of kittens with a hose pipe to shoo them away at breakfast. Also the airconditioning unit left an unpleasant odour in the room.

Room Tip: Choose a room at the front with a view of Pamukkale.

Fantastic location (at the base of the travertines), and very good value. We stayed one night in order to see the sites, and had a great meal at the hotel as well (order the sac kebap - excellent). Rooms are comfortable, bathrooms are clean and functional, and service was friendly. We were lent a copy of the English language guide to the sites to use during our visit, which was a nice touch. Pool looked good, but too cold to use during our stay - would be good to have in hot weather.

This is a great hotel choice...not only because it is located directly across from the terraces, has a fabulous pool and very clean rooms, but because of the warm hospitality of the owner/manager and all of the staff. I simply felt at home ... any question/need was addressed with a warm smile and a genuine desire to help. The meals were very good and dinner was served with the tables set around the lighted pool, with the illuminated hillside as a backdrop. Totally lovely stay; and they have a wonderful rug shop where I purchased some hand-made kilm rugs. Would definitely return here again!

Room Tip: I chose a large double room (king size bed) which faced the travertine hills (and pool) and also had...

A wonderful place in Pamukkale, close to the travertine hill. Wonderful staff. Extremely clean premises. The pool is a godsend on a hot afternoon. We also enjoyed a few good meals on the pool patio with a very romantic backdrop, travertine hills lit up.

Room Tip: Get a room facing the travertine hill. preferably the top floor.

We spent one night here. The hotel is quite small. There is a fantastic view of the calcium terraces. The hotel is older but the atmosphere is very nice. The staff were very accommodating. We were with a tour group and had our dinner and breakfast at the hotel. Dinner was excellent as was breakfast.
