Started at the bottom and walked up despite being hassled by people at the bottom to get a taxi up because it was so far- total rubbish!!! It is a lovely walk up - not at all demanding and a lot quieter than at the top where all the coaches stop.we got wet in every pool on the way up - it was just beautiful - you could almost imagine you were in the Alps except for the temperature. Really interesting - an experience not to be missed.

This is a unique experience, nothing like it! I have travel some many countries in the world, and soo many nice place but pamukkale is amazing, Delicious food and lovely nice people there, now when i hear pamukkale i feel left my mind in pamukkale, its was really nice dream for us now, lots of termal pools to enjoy, and an excellent place for the ones who likes photography, if you ever go to turkey this is the def the place you must see, we went to bodrum for 2 weeks and we drive to pamukkale ourself, we spend all day in Pamukkale, but to be honest one day was not enough for us, for to see all the magnificent view and there are also lots of wonders to see, Def recommend this place and its the world herigate site, also One of natural site in world hope we will go again :) they have snack bar, shops, and the price is normal not very expencive. also town is close everything you will need you can find easly.

the place is unique and the experience is more than fantastic! It takes a short time but I suggest to stay for the night in Pammukale area and to try it twice. the first time you can go inside the flow of people, taking pictures and making the turist. The second time (early in the morning it's better to avoid the crowd) dressed only with a bathing suit for a unique and relaxing experience: to stay in the travertine pools, to put on yourselves the mud, to have a sort of spiritual approach with this incredible place. In case of a single visit, please make yourselves as light as you can. Forgot long pants, backpacks, cameras and all the other tools that can be wet by the water. Enjoy the warm water, the fantastic feeling to walk on the travertine (absolutely not slippery as one can think in the beginning). In certain moments (very few due to the crowd!) it seems to stay on the moon. It's an experience to be made and felt on your skin, it cannot be described.
The archeological site all around is interesting but please don't spend too much time with it. Ther are many other sites better preserved. My suggestion is to be concentrated on the travertine pools. Enjoy your experience!

This is a very impressive site. The limestone can be seen from miles away, but once you get there the true magnificence of the formations is fantastic. The water flowing onto the formation is managed, so you may get a good day or a bad day. The view from the top is stunning. There is also a thermal pool, with food and drink outlets, so you could easily spend the day there.
Be prepared for a bit of walking and lots of tourists.

We spent a day visiting the Pamukkale pools. This was such an unusual phenomenon and should not be missed so be sure and bring your walking shoes and a bathing suit to enjoy this wonderful place. Very busy and crowded place due to the tour buses. We enjoyed our foot massage and cleaning from the Doctor Fish which was a highlight of this experience for our daughter (we enjoyed it too), they are cleaner fish that remove dead skin from your feet and lower legs. Cleopatras pools are very lovely to see too. If you can squeeze this into your trip you will not regret it.
