We had booked a day in Pamukkale, to follow an overnight bus journey, through Turkish Heritage Travel. Tours 4 Turkey is, apparently, a subcontractor they use in Pamukkale.
Our bus was 4 or 5 hours late (mechanical problems en route). We had been scheduled to arrive around 6 am, and to depart on a 7pm flight. Instead, we arrived at 11 am. I had emailed at 2 am, to Turkish Heritage, advising them of the situation.
We had arranged a full day group tour, in advanced, but were hours late for it, by the time of our arrival.
T4T sent a young man to meet us at the bus in his car, held our baggage in their office, got us a place to wash up and eat, right away, in a restaurant next door. They proposed to put is in a group tour leaving at 12, which likely would have been fine, but after my wife stated our disappointment, on the pane, to Turkish Heritage, they fixed us up with a private tour, so we could have at least as good an experience in the remaining time as we might have had in the all day group tour.
They did well. Our guide, Hayadi Kural, was a licensed, experienced guide, fluent in English, personable, and expert in the history of the site. He was also very willing to answer some fairly personal questions I put forth regarding personal life, and religion, in Turkey, and regarding the general safety of the region, and how people feel about it.
T4t performed what was asked of the, by Turkish Heritage, and if you choose to book arivate tour, ask for Hayadi Kural. You will not be sorry.
