“The best place in Cappadocia from a European traveler's opinion!”
Reviewed August 5, 2014

To get things started, let me explain who I am. I am a 21 year old solo female traveler. I have been to 14 countries and counting. I have stayed in friends homes, apartments, hotels (3 stars and up), hostels, and B&B's. I was only in Cappadocia for one night and I booked a 2 day tour where this hotel was included in the cost. This was the BEST hotel I had stayed in thus far in my European adventure. It is simply beautiful- I cannot stress that enough. IT IS GORGEOUS! The pictures do it complete justice! I was had a KING BED all to myself with a JACUZZI BATHTUB! This was heaven. There was free breakfast in the morning where the chief made you omelets! Free coffee and tea all day! The reception staff were very welcoming, kind, and helpful. I suggest staying in this hotel and booking a tour of Cappadocia when you arrive to save yourself money. I heard a tip that it is cheaper to book tours within the city in person. This hotel is located right in the heart of the lively downtown district with AMAZING restaurants for great prices! I would come back, but this Cappadocia is not easily reachable for a reasonable price so I do not expect to return anytime soon, if at all. With that being said, it is a must see place and this is the hotel to stay in! I mean, come on, it is a CAVE PALACE! It doesn't get much better than that.

Room Tip: Ask for a private room with a king sized bed! Ask for one on the first floor with the terrace!

The staff at the desk were wonderful; Bekir and his colleagues really are attentive and helpful. The room was simple but attractive, and very clean (it's not a cave hotel, despite the name). Everything worked fine. The location is right in town, so it's easy to get around by foot for shopping and you are picked up at the hotel for day trips of one sort or another. The courtyard is charming. The breakfast is simple. The only downside is that there is construction of two new hotels (it seems) on either side, so it's noisy in the daytime: then again, in the daytime you should be out seeing the sights, and the construction sites were quiet by 5pm.

Great cave rooms. We loved the Jacuzzi and having breakfast served outside our bedroom on our own porch. Staff were very friendly and helped us with three different tours. The balloon trip was amazing but what could we do after that and it was only seven in the morning. Have another great breakfast to dim the taste of the champagne from the sunrise flight.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the cave room they put us in. Outside the room there was a beautiful courtyard where we spent a lot of time reading and drinking a glass of wine.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We would love to stay at this hotel if we visit Cappadocia again.

This place was booked for us by our travel agent, The bathroom was way too small and the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor, the rooms had no air conditioning and perhaps adequate in the cooler months, felt stuffy in the middle of summer. On the plus side the staff were friendly and the breakfast reasonably good.
