3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 5, 2014

We were here for three nights and had a good room, albeit up many steps. The restaurant was quite a hike away and the food was some of the least good during our one week stay in Turkey. Adequate but unexciting. I have been to Turkey many times on business and know how good the food can be. Unfortunately, we were rather dissapointed with this stay. Could be better.

I stayed 2 nights in this hotel this March. Yes there were lot of stairs, and it will be a problem for elderly people. Should consider elevator. The staffs were helpful, and I stayed in a double bed room. The room size is not small, more than enough space to put my 2 luggage (I stayed alone in the room). Bedsheets were clean. The bathroom is OK, even though not in a luxurious style, it was clean and enough for me. The staffs at the restaurant were friendly. There is one staff at the restaurant named Abidin Avisar who was very helpful, attentive and friendly, not only to me but also to everyone else. He is one of a kind.

We stayed 3 nights with a RSDtourThe rooms were so small we had to put our luggage on the very small wardrobe, who almost fell into pieces.
THe bathroom was not cleaned and even the rooms were not proper.
Outside beautiful.

Do not book into this hotel if you have any difficulty with stairs.
The rooms are spread around a good sized area - mostly two storey.
From our room to reception was 39 stairs and landings - then on to the restaurant was another 20 stairs and landings - most of which were outside - at least it was not raining otherwise you would need a brolly

If you are in reception and want to use the toilet - it is down a circular staircase with 15 steps and is on the same level as the bar.

Staff were pleasant and helpful with the cases of those who could not manage stairs.

The place was clean with a varied buffet dinner and breakfast.

The Hotel is on a scenic hillside with very few shops or anything else nearby

Room Tip: Ask for aground floor, near the restaurant before you travel

nice situated hotel. not a cave hotel but still close to the idea.
small reception, a pover loungeroom. stairs to the second level. many stairs to the restaurant. a nice situated pool with chairs around. the restaurant is outside the hotel, not cosy but a breakfast buffet with such a tasty yogurt that the other mornings they could not deliver any yogurt more..,unpossible!!the dinnerbuffet was normal, not very tasty.our room was not spacy but cosy and everything was working and clean. I heard that we were lucky because other rooms were less working .free wifi in the room, perfect !! hard matrasses.

Room Tip: we had a bad vieuw. try to get a room with a nice vieuw so you are able to see the balloons !

We stayed here as part of a coach trip tour of Cappadocia. The location is superb, with lots of character - old stone architecture. Furthermore, we could watch hot-air balloons ascending each morning from our window. The staff are very attentive and the food is good - freshly cooked eggs for breakfast, and again for liver or chicken in the evening.
HOWEVER, the shower room was a joke, not much bigger than many dining tables; the advantage was that you could (if you wanted!), shower and clean your teeth while sitting on the toilet. Added to that is the poor quality bedroom furniture and heating that could not be turned off.
Getting some fresh air came from the 75 steps from our room to the restaurant, plus the same going back - good for one's health and digestion?

Room Tip: ground floor rooms may have fewer steps

Loved the cave like rooms. The hotel had a great feeling about it. Staff (the ones who could speak any English) were very friendly. As our booking included both breakfast and dinner we were very happy with the food. There is nothing else in the area so once you are there, there is not a lot else to do. Coming back after a long hot day of touring a drink at the poolside is welcome.
The only negative is that if you order a bottle of wine at dinner pay for it then as when you get your bill on check out it could be a lot more than you anticipated.
