Unique hotel with amazing service and attention to detail. Urgup itself is definitely the best town in the area - more "upscale" and less touristy. Sacred House is perfectly located w/i a short walking distance of town. Prefer this v being in Esbelli neighborhood up on the hill. Don't get me wrong, explore Esbelli for sure, it's amazing but better / easier to stay down the hill.

As others have said, breakfast is fantastic. If one complaint, maybe too much food (i.e. who can eat that much - feel guily leaving so much behind)

Room: We stayed in Full Moon, one of their cheaper rooms, and it exceeded expectations. Huge room, huge bathroom.

Years have been passed since your last visit... Sacred House expanded and deserves a new visit.

We have 21 rooms now with a stunning restaurant & bar, underground SPA that might take away you breath.

Looking forward to serve you again in near future.

Best Regards,

Ece

There are lots of hotels described as boutique but this really is. Everyone was very friendly and the atmosphere was stylish but relaxed.

Room Tip: Look online and choose the style of your room - they are all very different.

All the rooms are different in this hotel, filled with antique pieces, lush fabrics and colors! Beautiful corteyard with grape wines, roses, candles, sculptors, a fountain. We stayed in two different rooms. A first one was Deep Forest. Even though it was a cool room, i didnt love it. The deep green was too much for me. The bathroom was kind of too rustic too. There is a comfortable sofa outside of the room, which we enjoyed a lot. Overall its a nice and comfortable room. The second room was Bachus and we really loved it! Bold colors, decorations, beautiful antique pieces, carved wood, cave like spacious bathroom, modern audio system - very stimulating! Ece, the beautiful owner, helped us to make a plan long before we came. She arranged a guide, tours, places to go and was very helpful during our stay. The breakfast probably deserves a separate review, but since mentioned, it was one of the highlights of Cappadocia :-) You get 5 stars food and service on the beautiful terrace, overlooking caves and rocks! We enjoyed a company of owner's sweet dog and a cat, who are very friendly and like to hang out with guests. The maids definitely made our life easier. Coming back from our tours and hikes, we would find our clothes laundered and folded, stuff organized, little snacks and cherry liquor awaiting. 5 stars to them too!
Now, a bit of complaining- There are no phones in the rooms, which kind of uncomfortable. There are only two power outlets for charging, which doesn't make it easy when you have to charge all your devices, so there a room for improvement on those issues:-) We had a fabulous time in Sacred House!

There are some moments in life that you can never ever forget about.. The hotel creates that moment for you. Uniquely detailed interior design makes you feel like you are in a very popular Art museum, and you can breathe LOVE in the air within the walls of the complex. Professional and the friendly team there makes this experience even more unique by offering quality services beyond your expectations. Last but not least, perfect place for a proposal ! Trust me;)

Room Tip: Try to book different rooms for however long you stay and experience different flavors of Love ART...

Outstanding in every respect. The rooms, each of which is unique, are beautifully furnished all in an antique theme. The common areas are lovely with lit candles in the evening providing a romantic atmosphere. The service and staff was excellent in every respect, friendly, helpful and constantly going out of their way to ensure that your stay is going well. The staff can be very helpful in arranging tours, outings and providing recommendations. And then the food - first the breakfasts are something to wake up for. A range of wonderful options with a local flavor. Then do take advantage of dinner at the hotel which is served by candlelight in private intimate rooms which we really enjoyed . The food for dinner on both occaisions that we dined was outstanding. These dinners, along with their wonderful service, were the best we experienced in Cappadocia (do note that you need to make a reservation before 2 pm to have dinner that night). All in all, a terrific hotel which I would highly recommend.

Very kitschy rooms await you at this charming little boutique hotel. They are cavelike in appearance, and reminded me of those at The Madonna Inn in Southern California. Special touches such as homemade cherry wine and delicious cake when you arrive are also part of the experience. The wonderful breakfast is served on a rooftop terrace overlooking the city and surrounding hills. Staff couldn't be more gracious. If you are expecting the average hotel experience, this place is not for you, but if you are up for a little adventure, then it is. The Turkish bath (hamam) down the hill is also an experience one should not miss.
