“The Flintstones with Class!”

Friends of ours who had travelled to Cappadocia had told us to make sure we stayed in a 'cave hotel'. Although we had checked out photos on-line in advance of our stay, we weren't really prepared for the delightfully unusual experience. Our room was well-appointed with a much better bathroom than one might have expected...especially in a cave! I didn't envy the staff who insisted on carrying our bags up several flights of steps and then down into our room. But then we found the staff helpful in every way--even to the point of ironing our clothes for us (for which they wouldn't take a lira). We enjoyed our two nights there very much, and found the location to be convenient for visiting Goreme and other sites in Cappadocia.

Room Tip: If you want a 'view' then you need to ask for a room with an outward aspect. Our room had a...

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights last January 2014. The staff is very nice and helpful, excellent breakfast and quite comfortable rooms. We strongly recommend it for your stay in Cappadocia.

This hotel is located on the side of a hill with some rooms in caves and others on the outside. We had a room at the top of the stairs which had a great view of the cave houses and other buildings on the other side of town. Our room was on a number of different levels-a bit challenging in the dark. The furnishing was old fashioned and basic but probably much the same as other hotels in this area. The best thing about the hotel is the friendly staff and great food-unexpected in this quiet rural area. Dinner was included in our room rate and whilst there were not many other diners in the hotel restaurant the food and service was top class at breakfast and dinner. The hotel is a short walk from the main part of town in which there are many shops, restaurants and banks. Cappodocia is an amazing place-quite unique.

Room Tip: Rooms with a view.

The room we had was a large family room. This was great but it had no view as it was in the caves and was the wrong side of the hallway. A smaller room with a view would have been preferred. The room was clean but bed was rather lumpy and my husband and I had two restless nights of sleep on the mattress which has seen better days.
Bathroom fan also made a horrible shriek noise at times which was a problem late a night for the sleeping partner.
Location at the top of the hill was good, if you had a view, but if tired and at night was a hard slog to walk up the hill.
Food was included, much to our surprise, and breakfast was easy to choose what you wanted but dinner was a full 5 courses. This is wherre the language barrier really came into it we tried on a couple of occasions to say no more food was wanted but they kept rolling out the meal and being the only ones in dining area at time (they also stood and watched) we gave in and ate but felt bad that we did noit eat all that was served up.
Food is typical Turkish fare butstaff were friendly and helpful as can be when they speak no English and us no Turkish.
Overall clean and nice hotel but there are a few at the bottom of the hill that maybe worth a look before you book here.

Yusuf Yigitoglu Konagi hotel is really fantastic.
I had a beautiful view from the window of my room which is very spacious and arranged in a charming and traditional Turkish way. You may have cave rooms if you prefer. But I do suggest regular rooms which are more spacious and more comfortable.
The team of this hotel is exceptional! They, Cihan, Asim and Ceren, are so young, charming, professional and patient. You may ask any questions and they will be there to help you.
When I rushed in the morning to catch the tour shuttle waiting for me without having time for breakfast, they even insisted that I had a cup of orange juice first. When a friend of my second day's tour group didn't want the cave room, and the hotel didn't not have any single room available, they generously offered her a deluxe double room without any extra fees.
I was travelling with a group of people coming from the US, Australia, France and China. Everyone of us has loved our stay there!

Wonderful wonderful wonderful!!
Have you ever wanted to sleep in a hotel that was built right into the side of a hill?? As in a Cave?/ Well this hotel has a beautiful old world vibe, supported by old style furnishings, new style bathrooms, and a staff of discrete, almost invisible servers. English speakers are few an far between but there are some servers who understand enough to get by.
Up the hill from the Hotel are a few shops that sell clothes, trinkets and such, and farther up the main road is a winery, that I never visited since I was too busy!! I don't remember anything close by to visit, but then the whole trip was organized around visiting sites that were only accessible by bus. This place is well worth the time to visit!

Room Tip: the call to prayer is a real wake up call at 4:30 in the morning - just remember you are in a muslim...
