“Horrible, don't stay there!!!”
Reviewed June 7, 2012

I stayed there while on a grand Turkey tour. All facets of this hotel were horrible: rooms are old & dark (had to use my flashlight to pack at night!), no wireless internet available (it did promise free wifi on hotel website), very noisy (walls are thin and kids running / playing in the hallway, heard neighbour's TV & conversation). The only good thing was the buffet offered good selection.

Room Tip: Just stay away!!!!!

The hotel is comfortable, although older and a bit run down. In particular the carpeting was seriously stained in most of the hallways. Room - Bed - and Shower were very comfortable. This was a stop for our tour - and the included meals were good. Service was good, although most meals were buffet style.

Room Tip: Many of the rooms have a good view of the Baloon Flights over the valley

The lobby of the hotel makes one think the rooms might be nice, but upon entering the floor of my room I was met with stained smelly carpets. The door locks are ancient key entry with no other lock on the door - which led me to place a chair under the doorknob at night out of a concern for safety.

The room was strange: higher than it was wide or long, with scuffed wood panels on the stained walls, a twin bed in the middle of the room across from a small TV set, a couple of low tiny dark wood tables, and a window with smelly smoke encrusted curtains. A door led to another room with a double bed so old that it was actually in the shape of a "U". No closet in the room but a wardrobe in the second room. Stained dirty looking carpeting made me keep my shoes on.

The bathroom was ancient and again, of questionable cleanliness. The toiletries on a little plate on the sink were gross - they appeared to have been opened, half full, with ancient 1970's looking caps on them with actual fingerprint wear. I did not touch any of them. The only thing I used was the little round soap as it was wrapped in paper and seemed new. I did not use the bath/shower as it did not look clean to me and had mold.

The restaurant is very large and seems to specialize in big tour groups - we saw Asians, French and German big groups of people (I would be most disappointed if this hotel were on my tour.) There are many mystery food items without signs on the buffet - big bowls of gloppy stuff I passed on. The recognizable food items are bland with little flavor. Looking for an American breakfast? Not here. Vegetables, unknown cheeses, mystery meats are your choices.

Look elsewhere.

Room Tip: There aren't any good rooms.

Confortable room and bed, but noticed small lost items on the floor, clearly not cleaned at all. Confortable hall. Position a bit isolated without a car (at least 20 minutes walking to the first shop/city center). Buffet dinner seemed good, but few people had problems the last day (difficult to be sure it was indeed restaurant's fault).
