“The most amazing room I ever stayed in....”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 10, 2012

This is the most beautiful, well thought out and luxurious hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms look charming and rustic from the outside but from the inside it has all the luxuries and comforts that a five star can offer you and even more. We stayed in the Fantasy Suite and it was like a dream. The J&B with 2 glases in the huge bathtub ( inside the huuuge bathroom!!) was really thoughtful but so were many other things about Esbelli Evi. The refiregrator in our kitchen which was again huge and very charming was stocked with so many goodies and except the beer everything else was free!

They serve nice fresh breakfast every morning and you can get a beautiful view of the region from the patio. In addition you also have a snacks range and water complimentary throughout the stay. There is also a well stocked bar using the honour system and drinks were priced only $5 each!!!

They even have a DIY laundry system costing only $10 for a load. This was such a boon in the middle of our Turkey trip.

Since they do not have an unhouse restaurant they make up for it by providing you with takeaway cards of many restaurants and you can order what you like. They charge you for your food only at the time of checkout. We enjoyed the food at Dimrit. We even booked a balloon ride from them and a full day private tour, must say we were very happy with both.

Suha must be a visionary to make this place the way it is. And Yasemin is so warm, friendly, with an "offcourse you can!" to anythign we asked for.

If you are in cappadocia go stay here. We will be back again!

Surely one of the most charming places in the world! Imagine that you have been invited by your warmest and friendliest relatives to spend time in one of the most unusual places on the planet. Your hosts know everything about the region and are generous with their time, their information, and their hospitality.
The breakfast alone warrants trip here!
I would like to go and spend a month...

We felt we had found long lost family! Suha and Yasmeen were most welcoming. We were upgraded to a deluxe cave suite and shown around the property making us feel "at-home". Everything was pin-point perfect. The breakfast was sumptuous and the guys serving us were well trained(must have rubbed off from Suha and Yasmeen). We had a 7pm flight and the hosts were generous enough to let us check-out at 5pm. We'd want to go back-just to stay with them again!

Urgup & Goreme are the best stay-options for Cappadocia, and in Urgup, Esbelli Evi is the perfect haven. Suha & Yasemin are the perfect hosts and will make all your arrangements - from airport transfers to balloon company & sightseeing tours recomendations, to bookings for the whirling dervishes sema ceremony to taxi & restaurant reservations.
Suha has done wonders in transforming individual cave houses into this serene Cave Suites boutique hotel. With a keen eye for detail & lovely little objects d'art tastefully displayed all over the hotel & in the suites. Their website shows all the different cave suites available, so its possible to request for a particular one as suits your fancy. At rates that are often better value than taking two separate rooms elsewhere.
On arrival, Yasemin first shows us around the entire property before taking us to our suite. Our cave suite had a master bedroom & a separate room for the kids, with small alcoves & chimney windows that really appealed to our children, two separate marbeled bathrooms with excellent showers, a nice living room with personal laptop (free wifi), stocked kitchen and lovely sit-out garden. All rooms have both airconditioning & heating (both required).
The rates are inclusive of breakfast, wifi & all taxes. Breakfast is served in cheerful breakfast rooms or outside on the patio, and offers a varied selection of breads, pastries, fruit, cereal, etc, along with freshly squeezed juice & eggs to order. Mineral water is offered complimentary (unlimited) along with a complimentary snacks basket. Good selection of wines & drinks on the honor system. The common room is cozy with rugs, cushions, books, catchy radio music & a panio, ideal for afternoon or evening lazing. And post-dinner chats with our two hosts!
Ziggys & Dimrit are two outstanding restaurants for dinners, a short 3-5 minutes walk down the road.
Urgup is best suited as the base for a Cappadocia holiday, with Esbelli Evi the crown jewel there!

This " Hotel " is more like a sanctuary - there is an atmosphere of peacefulness and calm that is great after a week in the busy city of Istanbul - can't say enough about it , except that it is a wonderful experience to stay there , and Yasmine and Suha are fantastic hosts .

My wife and I travel a great deal and have stayed in many of the world's finest hotels. Before visiting Cappadocia we read several TA reviews about this gem in of an inn. But we were still surprised by the thoughtfulness and imagination it's owner, Suha, has given to almost every detail of both decor and guest comfort. Overall, the architecture is stunning and the rooms reflect the loving care of an unusually perceptive and artistic innkeeper. Every convenience has been considered and addressed. Our suite, called Stonecutter's, has a large and luxurious bathroom the likes of which you might expect at an Aman or Four Season's resort. Both the living area and bed chamber are delightful. The frig is filled with every sort of beverage, gratis to the guests, and there is a computer in every room as well as wifi. This is our first morning here so we haven't yet enjoyed the breakfast other reviewers have mentioned. In short, it's hard to imagine a more pleasing spot to retreat to while in this most extraordinarily beautiful and unusual Turkish landscape.

Suha and Yasemin are wonderful hosts. The property is beautiful and extremely well maintained.

The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is full of complimentary goodies. Breakfast is served outdoors and indoors depending on your preference. I sat outdoors as the weather was nice. The breakfast was terrific and the staff very polite. They really make you feel at home.

I asked for a tour of the unoccupied rooms and suites, and they are all very nicely done.

The best is the shower. The water is hot and water pressure is very good. We have been on the road for the last week and have stayed at various hotels in Turkey. The shower at this hotel is absolutely the best.
