We nearly passed this place by - it looked a bit sketchy but the owner was so friendly and inviting we decided to go in. They handed us the "menu",a worn looking photo album with pictures of food and no prices. Again,we were doubtful that this was a good idea. We asked about the prices and were handed a grimy laminated price list with very reasonable prices. We decided to stay and ended up coming back to eat here all 4 nights of our stay in Urgup. The food is simply excellent - fresh, delicious, Turkish home cooking. Another good sign? Locals were eating here every night as well. Overlook the humble, slightly grimy appearance and give this non-touristy place a try. You will not be disappointed!!
