Recommended by the hotel we stayed, a nice view from restaurant balcony. Very friendly welcome by the chef (owner). Good advice how to order Turkish food.
Delicious food with a very reasonable price.
Strongly recommend.

“Delightful personal service”
Reviewed May 23, 2014

We met Ismail, the owner, in town earlier in the day and he told us about his restaurant. It's very small and very personal. Ismail did the cooking himself. There were five of us for dinner and he provided soup, 3 meat courses, dessert, wine and water, all of excellent quality for an unbelievably inexpensive price. The cafe looks out over the town and the whole evening was a lovely experience.

“An experience to remember”

This is more like going to a friends for dinner rather than a restaurant. If you want to try wonderful home cooked Turkish food try Panorama. Great views and Ismael was a great host.

“Excellent Food and Company with the Luck of a Burnt out Light”
Reviewed May 2, 2014

My wife's birthday was Sunday, April 27th, and she was a lucky charm! We set out for Ismail's Panorama Cafe for a birthday dinner, and as we wandered around with a fuzzy Google-map a friendly male voice asked if we needed help finding something. We told him we were looking for Panorama Cafe, and he introduced himself as Ismail the owner and chef at Panorama Cafe. (He had to run out and buy a light bulb to replace the one at the entrance to his restaurant.)
We followed him up and around and up the hill, inside and up the steps to a table exposed to the breeze and a view for miles (kilometers) up and down the valley.
We had excellent local wine, salads, kofte (meatball kabobs), and shared a serving of the local pasta dish "Manta" with yogurt sauce. It was all great, but the thin sliced "Pastrama" was the highlight and main course.
To end, he brought out a cake with candles and stayed to talk with us over dessert.
It was a most memorable birthday - Ismail is a "really cool guy" liked by young and old!
Please visit Panorama Cafe if you are in Urgup!

“Great Food but hard to find”
Reviewed May 1, 2014

Very difficult to find but well worth the climb. By the time the three of us got there the owner said all he had left was meatballs. So we all ordered meatballs. Delicious sides were given, bread, and the meatballs were the best I had in Turkey. Free water and apple tea, too! Definitely high quality food for a reasonable price.
