This the hotel you want to stay at. The place is gorgeous, has breath-taking views, offers exceptional service and is truly serene. The rooms are fabulous, beautifully designed and blissfully comfortable... the food is divine and the wine is amazing. (Recommend trying the Museum Hotel's Cabernet Sauvignon!!) The location is unbeatable -- phenomenal views of the region, easy access to hiking trails in the iconic, rugged countryside and great exploring to be done of the hilltop caves around you. The owner of the hotel is a remarkable entrepreneur who has grown up in the area and has a true passion for the community, it's history and it's future. Cannot recommend this hotel enough -- it's an oasis for a truly relaxing and unique vacation.

Just a beautiful relaxing hotel with best setting in Turkey. It was so peaceful after the madness of Istanbul, and cappadocia is astonishingly beautiful. The staff were fun and very professional. The owner should be very proud of what he has achieved.

This hotel is rated the best in Cappadocia, the food was good, the views amazing but I warn you don't get a room below the restaurant , the noise was unbearable at night from the movement of the chairs on the stone. I have travelled the world and if this was fixed it would get 5 stars , unfortunately this is a real let down , sorry Museum Hotel but I quite at night is important to me.

Dear Museum Hotel guest,

First of all, thank you for choosing the "unique" Museum Hotel in Cappadocia.

As the Museum Hotel, – The only Relais & Chateaux hotel in Turkey – we try to be very attentive on every valuable comments. Guest satisfaction is one of the most important aim of our management. We were pleased with your positive comments, but also we want to apologize about your unforeseen complaint.

We have more than 200 comments from Tripadvisor. Additionally, most of our guests fill the questionnaire forms in the hotel, we receive hundreds of emails from the guests and also, our Concierge & Management Team get too many feedbacks from our guests in the hotel because we always care with our guests personally. To be honest, we did not receive any feedback about the sound of Restaurant before. That’s why, we have surprised. The rooms which are located in the mentioned area, have the best view of the Cappadocian region and they have very special concepts. A great many of our guests love these suites.

Finally, all of the guest comments are so valuable for us. It's for sure that, we will certainly take your comment in to our consideration to create the "best service" to our valuable guests in the "unique" Museum Hotel.

We hope to welcome you again in the near future.

Kind Regards,

MUSEUM HOTEL

Almost certainly the best hotel in Cappadocia - the cave rooms are large, the beds are comfy, and a few decorative vintage textiles give added atmostphere. Great hilltop location too, with views that stretch for miles. Yes, highly recommended. I found the staff personable, although some have been over trained and make the charm offensive seem a little forced. The breakfast is good, but the dinner room is rather formal and the food there is only average. Uchisar is close to the tourist town Goreme, but far enough away to seem like a village. An added plus.

I travel to Turkey a few times a year for business purposes, and always heard about Museum Hotel being the best in the area, so finally I checked in because I had some leisure time and decided to indulge myself.
At the Museum, the decoration is exquisite everywhere you go and a large antique and art collection is displayed inside the hotel, what makes this boutique hotel really a museum.
I stayed in a suite cave, with jacuzzi and scenic views over the dramatic landscape of Cappadocia. In spite of staying in a cave, it has all the amenities and comfort you can ask for, and the quality of the rest was certainly impossible to defeat. The garden and common areas are out of this World, with an infinity pool facing the entire valley of Cappadocia.
It should be pointed out the hotel personnel and the amazing hospitality. Anything I asked for was immediately supplied, and they really made my trip to Cappadocia spectacular and was the top hotel I have stayed at in Turkey. Special gratitude to Bouquet, the guest relations, for the fine treatment and her suggestions and instructions on getting around Cappadocia and which activities and tours had to be done. Just asked and she was happy to help, nothing was too much trouble for her. I spent 3 nights and I look forward to returning soon.

Once you see how devasted caves have been restored into Boutique hotel, your life is changing.. in 7 years work of many people you are presented a chance to witness a diamond in the rural landscape - only money, only taste or only time is not enough.. all came together to the feet of the guest to have xperience of history, culture, luxury, nature, fascination... some rooms have pillows menu, linen quality is superb, in room there are unique views over ballons and valleys, breakfast is served on the vitrins full of antiquities, art collection continues in corridors.. You can collect fresh vegatable in the garden and make photos of peacokes tales..
One thing is really not yet reached the level of owners love to the place is the service. Some of the staff just astonishing dull .. i d say 30-40% extremely good and rest ..dont know what they do. But so much work done, i give the credit to management that staff will reach one day level of this property which is almost unbelievable fact of existance. Many thanks

Room Tip: all rooms great, dont miss massage on the open terrace and pool - its chilly in the early morning bu...

This is a special place. The owner has done a fantastic job taking abandoned cave homes and restoring them to create this six star (five isn't enough stars) hotel. Each room is unique, filled with antiques and local crafts, overlooking the Cappadocia valley.

You will not find a group of people more dedicated to superior service anywhere in the world. What a magical place with special memories!
