My sister, our friend and I just returned from a week vacation in Turkey. We flew in from the USA to Istanbal, drove 10hrs to our timeshare in Didym. Before we left the US, my sister reserved and prepaid through AAA for our hot air balloon ride in Cappadocia. Unfortunitely, we did not relize how big Turkey was. We decided to travel another 10 hrs to Cappadocia the day before our 6am balloon ride. Upon arriving in the area it was really hard to find a hotel when you do not speak the langauge. It was starting to get dark and we saw a sign with a bed, so we parked and asked if they had a room. That hoetl was full, but they screamed to Filliz across the sctreet to see if she could accomodate us. She came down stairs and let us in. We told he their were three of us, so she added a cot to the room. The view from the front door and the roof was breathtaking. Filliz was also able to call the hot air balloon company to set up our hotel pick up in the morning. It was close to 7pm and there is a castle close by, she told us to hurry because it closed soon and to travel through the back path. The path was a short cut and worked great. The next morning we had to miss Filliz's breakfast due to the buffet that came with the balloon ride. After the balloon ride, Ismail (Filliz's brother) was able to download and clear my camera pictures on to an SD card for me. That was great. Filliz also called the car rental company and airlines for us with no charge, just a huge smile. The hotel is currently run by three sibblings Filliz, Ismail and their sister whom was in Istanbal. The hjotel used to be their grandmother's home. Felliz gave us a tour of the cave rooms below that are under renivations. We will return in a few years to stay in one of the cave rooms. For the ladies with a lot of hair, the showers have excellent pressure! I would recommend their hotel to anyone.
